A locking mechanism for a suspension assembly of a harvester, particularly those intended for the harvest of tall and stem plants, such as sugarcane and sweet sorghum, being designed to ensure that the harvester remains raised during maintenance procedures and thus avoids the risk of accidents and damage to the harvester. The locking mechanism includes a lock pivotably mounted to the chassis through a pivoting connection at a pivot end of the lock and disposed adjacent to the actuator cylinder. The lock has an opening configured to at least partially surround a fixed portion of the actuator cylinder and has a circumferential diameter smaller than a diameter of a movable portion of the actuator cylinder. The locking mechanism further includes a locking element disposed at an opposite end of the lock. The locking element is configured to interact with retaining bearings mounted on the chassis.

Locking mechanism for the suspension assembly of a harvester and agricultural harvester

A modular frame system for a sugarcane harvester includes a base frame section having a forward end and an aft end, with the base frame section defining a forward interface portion at the forward end. The system also includes a plurality of interchangeable front frame sections configured to be removably coupled to the base frame section, with each front frame section having a unique frame arrangement as compared to the remainder of the interchangeable front frame sections such that each front frame section is adapted to provide a differing harvesting configuration for the sugarcane harvester when selected for installation on the base frame section. Moreover, each front frame section includes a front end and a rear interface end, with the rear interface ends of the interchangeable front frame sections defining a common interface portion configured to be coupled to the forward interface portion of the base frame section.

Modular chassis assembly and system for a sugar cane harvester

A structural chassis for an agricultural machine, such as sugarcane and sweet sorghum harvesters, including a removable reservoir to store hydraulic fluid and, therefore, to improve maintenance and increase the useful life and productivity of the agricultural machine. The structural chassis includes a front portion and a rear portion that supports a primary extractor assembly and a hitch for mounting an elevator assembly. The rear portion is configured to form a processing path through side walls provided with openings for mounting lower and upper feed rollers and chopper rollers. The removable reservoir is installed in a housing formed by the side walls. The removable reservoir includes an opening between the primary extractor assembly and the hitch.

Structural chassis for mounting an agricultural machine and harvester

A support for a steering wheel of an agricultural or construction vehicle to improve working conditions of operators inside cabins and, also, to simplify production lines of the vehicle. A steering wheel support is formed by first and second articulated elements which are connected together and fastened on an installation base, and the first articulated element is pivoted on the installation base, while the second articulated element is connected at an opposite end of the first articulated element through a connector element, and a free end of the second articulated element further sustains a framework for installing a steering box with its respective steering wheel.
