The present invention relates to a remote play device for an interactive entertainment system and may include a class D amplifier and at least one motion detection device. The remote play device may also include a processor to adapt sound effects played through the class D amplifier based upon the at least one motion detection device. A battery may also be included powering at least the class D amplifier.

The present disclosure relates to an image display system, including a television having a screen, a sound projector, a control unit in signal communication with said screen and said sound projector, said control unit being configured for said sound projector to project one or more audible beams in a room towards one or more target paths. The system includes an optical instrument having a frame and a pair of lenses, detection means and transmission means, said detection means being designed to receive at their input an audio signal having a frequency falling in a 20-20 kHz frequency band and to output a processed signal, said transmission means being designed to receive at their input said processed signal, and to output a calibration signal. The control unit calibrates said sound projector according to said calibration signal generated by said optical instrument.

Embodiments of the invention relate to a signal receiver inserted between a first and a second voltage reference and having a first and a second input terminal effective to receive differential signals and an output terminal effective to provide a converted signal. Advantageously, the signal receiver according to embodiments of the invention comprises a conversion stage inserted between the first and second voltage references and connected between the first and second input terminals of the signal receiver and an input terminal of an hysteresis comparator, connected in turn to the output terminal of the signal receiver. In particular, the conversion stage performs a conversion from any input signal received on respective input terminals to an intermediate signal provided on an output terminal and suitable for reception by the hysteresis comparator.

A digital circuit generates a phase synchronization signal for a digital input signal coded according to a biphase modulation. The phase synchronization signal is derived from a clock signal having a higher frequency than the maximum switching frequency of the digital input signal. The frequency of the clock signal is divided with a fully digital divider circuit having a non-integer ratio. The divider is self-synchronizing with the input digital signal. Control signals are used to enable or disable switching of the frequency divider. These control signals are generated by two circuits which sample the input signal with the master clock signal and analyze triplets of consecutive sampling values.

A switched capacitor low-pass filter incorporates a plurality of integrator stages cascade connected together. The filter includes at least one stage that includes a circuit device for cancelling out glitch pulses. This device is a deglitching circuit provided within the filter. Preferably, each stage in the filter is formed of a deglitching device which acts as a smoothing integrator.

A switched capacitor integrator particularly suitable to realize low-pass filters without inducing noise on the nodes of the reference potentials of the integrator, is provided by halving the input capacitance during an operating phase, and by transferring the electric charge between the input switched capacitance and the capacitor of integration of one and the other feedback branch of the differential amplifier, in a direct manner, that is, not referred to a fixed common potential. A unique current path is established, thus averting the effects caused by inevitable mismatches between the integrated capacitors.

Efficient switched capacitor integrator

A sigma-delta modulator of second or higher order includes two or more integrating stages, and a comparator connected in cascade to the integration stages. A signal having a logic level &plus;1 is generated when an input signal to the sigma-delta modulator is positive, and a signal having a logic value &minus;1 is generated when the input signal is negative. Regardless of its absolute value, a feedback line includes a low-pass filter and an adder circuit for adding a feedback signal. The signal output by the last of the integrating stages is filtered by the low-pass filter. The sigma-delta modulator further includes a second comparator having an input connected in common to the input of the first comparator and an output connected to an input of the low-pass filter. The second comparator outputs a logic signal having a positive value when the input signal is positive, and outputs a logic signal having a negative value when the input signal is negative. The second comparator also outputs a signal having an increasing logic level when the input signal exceeds one or more predefined thresholds of increasing value.

Stabilization of single loop sigma-delta modulators of a high order

Generation of symmetrical temperature compensated reference voltages in mixed type integrated circuits (digital and analog) having a superior PSRR is provided. Such a circuit includes a voltage-to-current conversion stage of a temperature independent bandgap voltage for producing a differential pair of currents that are applied as inputs to a pair of resistor feedback operational amplifiers. The feedback resistors are integrated in an interlaced form with a resistor employed in the conversion stage so that they have the same thermal gradient. Output of the operational amplifiers provides two temperature compensated low noise symmetrical reference voltages.
