An appliance includes a cabinet and an inner door. The inner door is configured such that an outer door panel is mountable on the inner door. An adjustable hinge rotatably couples the inner door to the cabinet. The adjustable hinge includes a movable door balance adjuster. A visual scale graphic is positioned proximate the adjustable hinge. The visual scale graphic includes a plurality of outer door panel weight indicia and a plurality of door balance adjuster position indicia. Each of the plurality of door balance adjuster position indicia corresponds to a respective one of the plurality of outer door panel weight indicia.

An adjustable camera assembly mounted within a door of an oven appliance includes a vertical guide rail and a camera movably mounted to the guide rail. A drive mechanism, such as a lead screw driven by a stepper motor, is mechanically coupled to the camera for moving the camera along the guide rail. A heat shield is positioned proximate a bottom of the door and extends around the guide rail to define a protective cavity for receiving the camera and providing a thermal break from a heating element of the oven appliance. A controller is configured for moving the camera into the protective cavity during high temperature operation of the oven appliance, such as during a self-clean cycle.

Oven appliance with an adjustable camera assembly

An adjustable camera assembly mounted within a door of an oven appliance includes a vertical guide rail and a camera movably mounted to the guide rail. A drive mechanism, such as a lead screw driven by a stepper motor, is mechanically coupled to the camera for moving the camera along the guide rail. A controller is coupled to a user interface for obtaining a rack position where food is located. Based on the rack position, the controller determines a viewing position where the camera is placed to achieve a desired view of the food and operates the drive mechanism to position the camera in the viewing position.

An oven appliance having an oven chamber positioned within a cabinet and a top panel defining one or more vent apertures includes a false back assembly for facilitating the containment of spilled fluids and the cooling of electronic components within the cabinet. The false back assembly includes a false back spaced apart from a range back to define a spill channel. A spill deflector is positioned below the vent apertures and above the spill channel along the vertical direction such that the spill deflector is configured for collecting fluids spilled through the vent apertures and directing the spilled fluids to the spill channel where they may be safely routed around sensitive electronic components.

An appliance, such as a dishwashing appliance having a door linkage assembly is generally provided herein. The dishwashing appliance may include a cabinet, a tub, a door, a spring linkage, and a linkage latch. The tub may be disposed inside the cabinet and define a front opening. The door may be rotatably positioned at the front opening. The spring linkage may bias the door toward a closed position. The spring linkage may extend from a first end to a second end. The first end may be mounted to the cabinet. The second end may include a fastener that is selectively attached to the door. The linkage latch may extend laterally from one of a pair of opposing sidewalls below the door. The linkage latch may define a latch channel to selectively receive the spring linkage when the fastener is detached from the door.

Dishwashing appliance having a door linkage assembly

A refrigerator appliance is provided. The refrigerator appliance includes an evaporation pan and a drain conduit for directing liquid to the evaporation pan. A reservoir is coupled to the drain conduit. The reservoir includes a tank positioned above the evaporation pan, a plug assembly and a float mounted to the plug assembly. A position of the float varies depending upon a height of water within the tank, and the plug assembly seals the reservoir when the position of the float is at a particular position.
