Some embodiments include a device, comprising: a housing; a circuit disposed in the housing, including a sensor array configured to generate electrical signals based on incident x-rays; a memory configured to store data for a plurality of configurations for the circuit; at least one magnetic sensor disposed in the housing; control logic disposed in the housing and configured to: receive a signal from the at least one magnetic sensor; select from among the configurations for the circuit based on the signal received from the least one magnetic sensor; and change an operation of the circuit by applying the data associated with the selected configuration to the circuit.

Some embodiments include an x-ray detector, comprising: a plastic housing; a two-dimensional sensor array disposed in a within the plastic housing and configured to generate image data in response to incident x-rays; a front plate connected to the plastic housing, the front plate and the plastic housing forming an enclosure surrounding the two-dimensional sensor array; and a printed circuit board mounted to the plastic housing at a plurality of mount points, wherein a centroid of the printed circuit board is closer to a center of the plastic housing than a centroid of the mount points.

Some embodiments include an x-ray system, comprising: an x-ray detector comprising: a housing; a sensor array configured to generate an image in response to incident x-ray radiation and disposed in the housing; a control circuit coupled to the sensor array, configured to control the sensor array, and disposed in the housing; and a first connector interface disposed on an exterior of the housing and electrically connected to the control circuit; an adapter comprising: a second connector interface configured to physically and electrically mate with the first connector interface; a third connector interface having at least one of a physical configuration and an electrical configuration different from the first connector interface; and a plurality of electrical connections between the second connector interface and the third connector interface.

X-ray systems including an adapter

Some embodiments include an x-ray detector, comprising: a plastic housing including a conductive coating; a two-dimensional sensor array disposed in a within the plastic housing and configured to generate image data in response to incident x-rays; a front plate connected to the plastic housing, the front plate and the plastic housing forming an enclosure surrounding the two-dimensional sensor array; wherein the conductive coating and the front plate form at least part of an electromagnetic interference shield around the two-dimensional sensor array.

A detector includes an enclosure having a side wall, a sensor array positioned in an enclosed portion of the enclosure, a controller connected to the sensor array and positioned in the enclosure, with the controller being connected to a first electrical connector within the enclosure, a second electrical connector positioned external to the side wall, with the first and second electrical connectors being removably connected to each other through the side wall, and a third electrical connector in electrical communication with the second electrical connector, with the third electrical connector configured to contact a fourth electrical connector of an energy storage device.

Some embodiments include a radiographic imaging system, comprising: a radiographic imager, including: an imaging array; imager control logic configured to control the imaging array; a power system configured to supply power to at least the imaging array and the imager control logic; a wireless power receiver configured to receive energy wirelessly and provide at least part of that energy to the power system; and a wireless communication transmitter; and a charging mat, including: a wired power input; a wireless power transmitter configured to transmit energy wirelessly; and a wireless communication receiver; wherein the wireless power receiver, the wireless power transmitter, the wireless communication receiver, and the wireless communication transmitter are positioned such that the radiographic imager can be placed on the charging mat where, simultaneously, the wireless power receiver is aligned with the wireless power transmitter and the wireless communication receiver is aligned with the wireless communication transmitter.

An electrical contact device may include an insulating first body having a first surface, one or more electrical contacts received in the first body and protruding a distance from the first surface, and an insulating second body configured to prevent access by an object such as a human body portion to the protruding electrical contacts. The second body may include a first side wall and a second side wall which are configured to allow the one or more electrical contacts protruding from the first surface to be interposed between the first and second side walls. The first and second side walls may define a width smaller than a dimension of an object such as a body portion so that access by the object to the one or more electrical contacts protruding from the first surface can be prevented.
