The rear-entry boot consists of, in the area of one of the articulations (4), interacting components which make it possible to modify the position of the articulation of the shaft (2, 3) in relation to the shell (1). It comprises a piece (6) in the form of a small arch which extends over the instep, this piece having a profile (7) which interacts with a mating profile (8) of the front part (2) of the shaft, so that these profiles remain engaged in one another whatever the lateral inclination of the shaft in relation to the shell.

Rear-entry ski boot

Ski boot consisting of a lower part and of a shaft, in the form of a collar, which is articulated on the lower part and provided with at least one closing buckle. The shaft comprises, at the rear, a rocker which interacts with a stop which is integral with the lower part in order to lock the shaft in a position inclined forwards. The rocker is held in inactive position upon opening of the uppermost buckle by means of a cable and of a spring. Thus, the shaft does not come to be locked at the wrong moment during walking.

Ski boot

Boot with a shell (1) comprising a shaft in two parts (2, 4), the rear part (4) of which is connected, on the one hand, to the shell and, on the other hand, to the front part (2) of the shaft by two pairs of links (5, 7) or equivalent means. The axes of the articulations on the rear part (4) are situated, in the closed position of the boot, on one side and the other of the plane containing the axes of articulation on the shaft and the front part (2) of the shaft. It is possible to open the shaft wide for putting the boot on, while having only a limited tilting backwards of the rear part. The upper connection can be associated with a closing lever.

Ski boot with a translating rear

The ski structure has a front ski and a rear ski, vibration dampers and a mechanism for converting a lateral pressure into a rotary motion, associated with one of the skis. The front and rear skis can be temporarily mutually loosely interconnected by at least one tab and can be rigidly interconnected by a removable mechanical bridge. Thus, the rear ski follows the direction assumed by the front ski, and the ski structure can be disassembled for easy transport.

Ski structure

Boot consisting of a shell (1) and of a shaft (2) articulated on the shell. The shell is provided, at least on one side, with a rigid stop (9) which engages in an indentation (8) of the shaft (2). This stop can occupy different positions to which different flexibilities of the boot correspond.

The ski structure comprises two ski elements for resting and sliding on snow, placed the one ahead of the other and each having a slightly upturned end, on which there are made rigid supports with which lever devices are associated which are connected together to a flat plate. The lever devices are provided with shock absorbers adapted to dampen the vibrations and the stresses imposed on the two ski elements while holding the plate parallel to the axis led through the two supports. Upwardly of the plate there are provided adjustable elements for securing to it an item of footwear, while with at least one of the supports there is associated a device adapted to convert to rotary motion a side pressure exerted thereon.
