A method to manufacture a throttle valve for an internal combustion engine comprising a valve body having a seat and a tube for the passage of conditioning fluid; an actuating device, which controls the rotation of a throttle plate; and a substantially uniform layer of a structural and heat-conducting resin interposed between the seat and the tube and applied on the entire available surface of the seat; the method comprising the steps of manufacturing the valve body provided with the seat by causing a first metal material to undergo a die casting process; applying a trace of the structural and thermosetting resin on the bottom of the seat; and inserting the tube into the seat so as to obtain a substantially uniform layer of the structural and thermosetting resin, which is interposed between the seat and the tube.

Method to manufacture a throttle valve for an internal combustion engine provided with a conditioning circuit

A throttle valve for an internal combustion engine provided with a valve body, a tubular feeding duct defined in the valve body, a throttle plate, and an actuating device which controls rotation of the throttle plate. The actuating device includes an electric motor and an actuating device conditioning circuit defined in the valve body. The conditioning circuit includes a tube made of a first material able to conduct heat, and the valve body is entirely made of a second metal material and is provided with a seat for housing the tube, in which is provided a layer of a structural and heat-conducting resin, interposed between the seat and the tube.

Throttle valve for an internal combustion engine provided with a conditioning circuit

An electromechanical actuator to operate a component in an internal combustion engine comprising an actuator body housing, on the inside, an actuator device, which controls the movement of the component so as to move it between a maximum opening position and a maximum closing position, and vice versa. The actuator device includes an electric motor and a gear drive that transmits the motion from the electric motor to the component. The electromechanical actuator is made of a first metal material and comprises a conditioning circuit comprising a pipe for the passage of a conditioning fluid, which is made of a second thermally conductive material. A method of manufacturing the electromagnetic actuator is also disclosed.

A valve for adjusting the air flow rate in an internal combustion engine; the valve presents: a valve body; a cylindrical tubular pipe obtained within the valve body and in which an air introduction channel is defined; a valve seat obtained along the air introduction channel of the tubular pipe; an actuation system; a shutter, mobile under the bias of the actuation system; and a connection flange, which is integral with a first end of the tubular pipe and presents a plurality of through holes which are crossed in use by corresponding fastening screws for rigidly fixing the valve body; the connection flange is provided with a lower plate and an upper plate, which are reciprocally parallel, facing and distanced and are arranged radially with respect to the cylindrical tubular pipe, and a number of ribs, which reciprocally connect the plates, are arranged perpendicularly to the plates, and are arranged axially with respect to the cylindrical tubular pipe.

Valve for adjusting the air flow rate in an internal combustion engine

An actuator having a fixed part, a movable part movable with respect to the fixed part in a travelling direction, and a non-contact position sensor connected to the movable part to read the position of the movable part. The position sensor has a reading device connected to the fixed part and having a ferromagnetic core; and a magnetic cursor, which is integrated in the movable part, is defined by a magnetized portion of the movable part, and is so magnetized as to locally saturate the ferromagnetic core at the magnetic cursor.
