Exhaust-gas module for an internal combustion engine

A valve flap device having at least one valve housing having a shaft comprising a bearing surface and a valve axis, the shaft being rotationally supported about the valve axis by means of the bearing surface in the valve housing. A bearing element having a sliding bearing surface, wherein the bearing surface of the shaft contacts the sliding bearing surface. A bearing housing provided on the valve housing, in which the bearing element is supported at least in the radial direction to the valve axis, wherein the bearing element has an outer surface contacting the bearing housing. The support of the shaft is intended to be sufficiently tightly sealed, even for gaseous media, while simultaneously ensuring precise and statically determinate support. To this end, the bearing element is designed as a separate component coupled to the bearing housing about the valve axis with respect to the circumferential direction, such that the relative position between the bearing element and the bearing housing does not change in the circumferential direction when the shaft is rotated.

Valve flap device

An exhaust-gas heat exchanger for an exhaust system for cooling an exhaust-gas flow, having an inner pipe and an outer pipe, wherein the two pipes are indirectly or directly welded to one another in sealing fashion at the inlet side, a jacket pipe is arranged around the outside of the outer pipe and an annular gap for coolant is arranged between the outer pipe and the jacket pipe, and the inner pipe has an axial flow cross section (A) at the end as viewed in the flow direction (S) and has a perforation (P), which forms a radial flow cross section, in a direction at right angles to a flow direction (S). Between the inner pipe and the outer pipe there is formed an exhaust-gas duct for the exhaust-gas flow, wherein an intermediate pipe which is mounted in displaceable and/or rotatable fashion on the inner pipe is provided with a perforation (P) by which the axial flow cross section (A) of the inner pipe can be at least partially closed off.

Exhaust-gas heat exchanger

A valve flap device for an exhaust system of a motor vehicle, having at least one tubular valve housing with a flow cross section running perpendicular to a central axis and being formed by the inner geometry and a shaft which can turn about a valve axis with a valve flap mounted on the shaft, being mounted in the valve housing to close the flow cross section. The valve flap device can be made with low material input and at the same time with low fabrication expense at low costs. For this, the valve housing is made from a tubular blank of sheet metal with a tube diameter that is calibrated to the flow cross section at least partially by mechanical, plastic forming.
