A method and a device for opening a transport bag for loading and/or unloading, wherein the transport bag is conveyed along a conveying path by a conveyor system, in a suspended manner, to a device for opening the transport bag. The transport bag has a front and rear wall and a movable push element, which effects a relative movement of the front and rear wall with respect to one another between a closed bag state and an open bag state. An actively moved push device exerts a pushing force on a first end of the push element of the transport bag and the push element is converted from an idle conformation into a conformation subjected to a pushing force. The front and rear wall are thus moved relative to one another in the direction of an open bag state and the transport bag is opened for loading and/or unloading.

Method and device for opening a transport bag

An appliance for loading a suspended transport pocket from above with a transport item, in particular with a piece item, including a feed device for feeding the transport item into a transfer region of a suspended conveying device with a guide rail and with transport pockets that are movable along the guide rail. The course of the guide rail is designed such that the transport pocket is conveyed away upwards out of the transfer region in a suspended manner.

Device for loading transport bags

The printing products () are supplied to the discharge station () by receiving elements () of the processing device (). The discharge station has on the one hand a removal conveyor () and on the other hand a clamp transporter () arranged downstream with respect to the removal conveyor in the direction of circulation (U) of the receiving elements (). The gripper tongs () of the removal conveyor () grip the printing products () at the side rim () and discharge the printing products from the receiving elements (). The respectively trailing wall () of each receiving element () is provided with a guide element () which respectively supports the printing product () in question and introduces the printing product into an opened clamp () of the clamp transporter (). The clamps () grasp the printing products () at the edge () with which the printing products () previously rested against the floor () of the receiving elements ().

Device and method for processing printing products

The apparatus for conveying printed products has a feeding device which conveys the printed products to a discharge end. The gripper circulatory path of the gripper conveyor moves with the receiving section past the latter. During movement through the receiving section, the grippers use their gripper mouth to grasp the printed products and convey said products further. If the receiving section is located in the central position with respect to the feeding device, the printed products are grasped centrally and conveyed further. If, by contrast, the receiving section is displaced by means of the adjustment device into a side position, the printed products are grasped eccentrically and guided further.

Method and device for combining sheet-like products with further sheet-like products, and apparatus for conveying sheet-like products, in particular printed products

A new gathering and stitching machine () and a new method for operating a gathering and stitching machine () are proposed, which make it possible to drive in the staples (K) in a positionally correct manner and to close them satisfactorily even in the case of relatively short staple setting times. This is achieved by the novel control of the position of the staple heads () and the saddle-shaped supports () in the region of the interaction during stapling. It is an essential feature of the present invention that the staple head () and the support () are pivoted towards one another in such a way that they come to lie within a common stapling plane (H). This means that the saddle plane which is defined by the pivoting axis (S) of the saddle-shaped support () and the support edge () and the staple-head plane which is defined by the pivoting axis of the staple head () and the ram tip are superimposed on one another in the region of the interaction and for the duration of the interaction and define what is known as the stapling plane (H). Here, the stapling plane (H) is pivoted continuously, with the result that it stands orthogonally on the main conveying plane (X) only in a central position.

Gathering and stitching machine

Material webs (), in particular printed products which are designed as two-ups or multiple-ups, are separated parallel to a conveyor direction (F) during an essentially continuous conveying, in that a waste strip is separated out of the material webs () in an alternating sequence of cutting steps. The material webs () in consecutive cutting steps, are cut in a shearing manner, and in an alternating manner on the one or the other side of the waste strip between essentially straight-lined cutting edges () of the cutting knife () and the counter-knife (). The cutting knives () are arranged around the periphery of a separating disk () rotating running in the same direction as the conveyor direction (F), wherein its cutting edges (') lie in an alternating manner in the plane of the one and the other end-side of the separating disk (). In each case, a stationary counter-knife () is aligned onto in each case one of the two end-sides of the separating disk ().

Method and device for separating continuously conveyed material webs

The invention relates to a processing device for processing printed products, in particular for collecting individual printed sheets for manufacturing an assembled printed product. The device includes a drum rotatable about a rotation axis and at least two feed stations arranged distanced from one another in the direction of the rotation axis, for feeding printed products, and at least one lead-away station for leading away processed printed products. The drum includes several guides, in particular saddle-like rests or conveyor compartments which are arranged in succession in the peripheral direction of the drum and are movable along a closed revolving path, as well as advance elements controlled by a control unit, for displacing the printed products in the direction of the rotation axis. For increasing the flexibility, the device is composed of modules.

Modular processing device as well as a construction kit for the construction of such a processing device

A device for opening folded or bound printed products, comprises a feeder device () for feeding-in individual folded or bound sub-products () and an opening device () for opening the sub-products (), as well as furthermore an opening verifying installation (), in order to with optical means () identify deficiently opened sub-products () before the sub-products () are further processed. In case of sub-products () identified as being deficiently opened, the further processing is not carried out, but rather a deficiently opened sub-product () is conducted back to the opening device once more.

Method and device for opening printed products

The invention relates to an apparatus by means of which sheet like products which follow one after the other along a feed section are transferred to a conveying arrangement with individually controllable grippers which can be moved in the conveying direction, are arranged one behind the other and are designed for gripping the products at their leading edge, the feed section having, in its end region which is directed toward the conveying arrangement, a conveying nip, in which the sheet-like products are retained, at least in part, on both sides, in the case of which apparatus, in the product-receiving region of the grippers, a positive stop, which is active during each product transfer, is provided for the leading edges of the products, the spacing between the positive stop and conveying nip being selected such that the trailing edges of the products are still located in the conveying nip when the leading edges strike against the positive stop.

Apparatus for transferring products to a conveying arrangement

An installation for processing piece goods including a processing station and a supply unit and/or removal unit. Supply and removal units are displaceable relative to the processing device. Supply and removal units include a closed-in-itself rail track and a plurality of grippers independently traveling along the rail. Supply and removal units further include a take-over drive and a delivery drive, the drives being independent of one another. The delivery drive of the supply unit and the take-over drive of the removal unit include a feature (e.g. a toothed belt) for coupling the drive to the periphery of the processing device. The installation is applicable e.g. for producing products from a plurality of sub-products in a drum-shaped processing device. The installation is very flexible and easy with regard to conversions, adjustments, trouble-shooting and maintenance.
