In at least one embodiment, a loudspeaker assembly including a magnetic assembly and a diaphragm is provided. The diaphragm includes a plurality of electronics positioned directly thereon. The diaphragm generates an audio output and is moved along a first axis in response to the magnetic assembly being energized with an input signal.

Described embodiments include an audio speaker configured to emit sound in a main sound emission direction. The audio speaker comprises a voice coil, a movable diaphragm connected to the voice coil and configured to move together with the voice coil, the movable diaphragm comprising, in a direction opposite the main sound emission direction, a front surface and a rear surface opposite the front surface. The audio speaker further comprises a light source configured to emit light which is located, in a direction of the main sound emission direction, below the voice coil, and a light guide configured to guide the light emitted from the light source to the front surface of the movable diaphragm.

Constructing and controlling light assemblies in a vehicle interior. A light assembly is constructed by forming a PCB layer to have a shape that is based on a shape of a corresponding vehicle component. A set of light sources are mounted onto the PCB layer and the PCB layer is attached to the corresponding vehicle component. The light assembly is connected to a light controller that supplies power and control signals to the light sources. A lighting effects engine receives an input from a user or a vehicle sub-system, determines a lighting effect corresponding to the received input, retrieves a set of lighting routines associated with the lighting effect, and transmits the set of lighting routines to a set of light controllers. The set of light controllers collectively generate the lighting effect by applying/executing the received lighting routines on the set of light assemblies.
