A brake pad retainer arrangement for holding a brake pad in position relative to a disc in a disc brake. The arrangement comprises an elongated retainer bracket arranged to extend transversely over the disc and the brake pad, wherein the retainer bracket is spring loaded to press against a rim portion of the brake pad. The retainer bracket is also arranged to engage the rim portion at an angle, thereby biasing the brake pad in a direction away from the disc.

A vehicle wheel end assembly comprising a wheel hub, rotatably mounted on a wheel axle spindle by a wheel bearing s comprising a roller bearing. The wheel bearing has a bearing inner ring mounted on an external section of the wheel axle spindle and a bearing outer ring mounted in an internal section of the wheel hub. The assembly further comprises a threaded hub nut mounted at the end of the wheel axle spindle to fix the bearing inner ring on the wheel axle spindle and a rotational lock mechanism to prevent relative rotation between the bearing inner ring and the wheel axle spindle. The rotational lock mechanism comprises a tangential surface arranged to intersect a part of an inner circumference of the bearing inner ring at right angles to the axis of rotation in a plane located at or adjacent an outer radial end surface of the bearing inner ring.

A control unit arranged to monitor a load distribution of a vehicle when the vehicle is in motion, the control unit comprising an interface arranged to receive a plurality of load values associated with one or more vehicle axles and/or one or more vehicle wheels from a plurality of load sensors arranged on the vehicle, wherein the control unit is arranged to determine a vehicle load distribution based on the plurality of load values, to compare the determined vehicle load distribution to a pre-determined allowable vehicle load distribution, and to trigger an emergency procedure in case the determined vehicle load distribution differs from the pre-determined vehicle load distribution by more than an allowable amount.

The retainer system comprises a retainer bracket arranged parallel to the brake disc axis and extending across a back plate of the brake pad, and a retaining spring arranged along a radially outer portion of the back plate and extending between the retainer bracket and the back plate. Each disc plate has an inner periphery and an outer periphery extending from the wear surface to the disc body facing surface. A fastening device is provided for securing a plurality of elongated vehicle components to a first side of a vehicle structural member. The fastening device includes a first elongated strap member configured to form a loop around a first bundle of the elongated vehicle components, and a head member configured to be positioned on a second side of the vehicle structural member opposite the first side. The head member is provided with a through hole configuration for receipt of two portions of the first elongated strap member forming the loop and configured to allow tying of the first elongated strap member from the second side of the vehicle structural member. Moreover, the fastening device includes a second elongated strap member configured to form a loop around a second bundle of the elongated vehicle components. The head member through hole configuration is configured for receipt of two portions of the second elongated strap member forming the loop. In addition, the head member is configured to allow tying of the second elongated strap member from the second side of the vehicle structural member.
