According to an embodiment, it is a pedal assembly comprising a mounting bracket comprising a mounting interface for mechanically attaching the pedal assembly to a structural part of the vehicle, a guide part being fixedly connected to the mounting bracket and comprising a channel extending linearly along a channel axis, an actuation rod extending along a rod axis and having a first end comprising or being coupled to a pushing surface, wherein at least a portion of the actuation rod is located inside the channel, wherein the rod axis and the channel axis are parallel and the pushing surface is configured to be contacted by a human foot for operating the pedal assembly, and a sensor assembly configured to detect an actuation of the actuation rod along the rod axis, wherein the pedal assembly is a component of a drive-by-wire system of the vehicle.

According to an embodiment, it is an apparatus comprising a first bracket portion comprising a deformation element and a protruding surface, wherein the protruding surface is configured to support an accelerator pedal, wherein the deformation element is arranged in a deformation zone on the protruding surface, wherein the deformation element is configured to be deformed during a crash and lifting the accelerator pedal up by a predefined height away from the floor of a vehicle, and wherein the apparatus is an accelerator pedal bracket assembly for the vehicle for protecting a driver during the crash.

Accelerator pedal assembly for a vehicle

A pedal system for a vehicle, a vehicle including such a pedal system, a method for manufacturing such a pedal system and a method for operating such a pedal system. The pedal system includes a pedal arm, a support member, a first locking unit and a second locking unit. The pedal arm is arranged at the support member pivotably around the support member. The first locking unit is arranged at the support member and couplable with the pedal arm to move the pedal arm to a first position. The second locking unit is connected to the pedal arm to release the pedal arm to a second position. The first locking unit is different from the second locking unit.

Pedal system

A vehicle brake pedal booster pushrod interface assembly is provided that includes: a pivotable brake pedal arm including a protruding peg structure; and an elongate pushrod including a clip structure disposed at one end thereof and adapted to pivotably engage the protruding peg structure of the pivotable brake pedal arm. The brake pedal booster pushrod interface assembly further includes a cylindrical sleeve adapted to be rotatably disposed about the protruding peg structure of the pivotable brake pedal arm and be pivotably engaged by the clip structure of the elongate pushrod. Optionally, the cylindrical sleeve includes an opposed conical section disposed at either end thereof and separated by a cylindrical center portion. The clip structure of the elongate pushrod includes a pair of arms defining an opening and an interior space adapted to receive the protruding peg structure of the pivotable brake pedal arm.

Vehicle brake pedal booster pushrod interface assembly

The present disclosure relates to a safety arrangement for a vehicle pedal, comprising a pedal structure including a pedal arm with an elongated shape for carrying a pedal plate; a bracket, which is fixedly connected to the pedal arm; a pedal hub, to be arranged in order to transfer a movement of the pedal structure to a vehicular system. The pedal structure is in a first position relative to the pedal hub during normal operation of the pedal structure. Further, the pedal structure is displaceable from the first position relative to the pedal hub to a second position relative to the pedal hub, wherein, when in the second position, the pedal structure is at least partly operatively decoupled from the pedal hub.
