A deadbolt lock status sensing assembly for monitoring status of a deadbolt member of a deadbolt assembly on a door may include a sensible element mountable on one of the door and the deadbolt assembly, and a sensing element mountable on one of the door and the deadbolt assembly. The sensing element and the sensing element may be configured to move with respect to each other when the deadbolt member of the deadbolt assembly moves between an extended condition and a retracted condition of the deadbolt.

System and apparatus for sensing and providing alerts for deadbolt lock status

A system for notifying occupants of a structure that a pet is proximate to an opening of a structure. The system may include a pet unit wearable on the pet's body and including a transmitter configured to transmit a wireless proximity signal from the pet unit. The system may further include an exit unit positionable at an exit of the structure. The exit unit may include a receiver configured to receive a said wireless proximity signal transmitted by a pet unit, with the receiver being configured to produce an alert signal when a said wireless proximity signal is received. The exit unit may also include an alerting assembly configured to provide a presence alert when the receiver receives a said wireless proximity signal. The alerting assembly may comprise a perceptible alerting mechanism configured to produce a perceptible presence alert which is perceptible to a sense of a human.

A system may include a first security component configured to emanate a signal with an authorizing code, and may have a magnetic field generating device configured to generate a signaling magnetic field including the signal with the authoring code. The system may also include a second security component configured to wirelessly receive the signal with the authorizing code when the second security component is proximate to the signaling magnetic field of the first security component. The second security component may include a magnetic field sensor configured to sense the signal emanating from the magnetic field generating device, and the sensor may be changed between first and second states by a change in the signaling magnetic field.

A system for monitoring of a vehicle with an inflation signaling apparatus having at least one inflation reporting assembly. The inflation reporting assembly may be configured to wirelessly transmit an information signal including an identification (ID) code. A system for securing a device having a case and a security feature integrated into the device. The system has a device security apparatus removably mountable on the device by the security feature on the case of the device. The device security apparatus may include a base element configured to mount on the device by releasably engaging the security feature of the device, and may further include a securing element removably mounted on the base element. The securing element may include at least one of a plurality of modules configured to interchangeably mount on the base element. A system for securing a device having a case and a security feature integrated into the device. The system has a device security apparatus removably mountable on the device by agency of the security feature on the case of the device. The device security apparatus may include a base element configured to mount on the device by releasably engaging the security feature of the device, and may further include a securing element removably mounted on the base element. The securing element may include at least one of a plurality of modules configured to interchangeably mount on the base element. The plurality of modules may include a mechanical connection module configured to physically connect the device security apparatus to an object, and a monitoring module configured to monitor movement of the device security apparatus and any device connected to the device security apparatus.

A security medallion for a portable object may include a housing and a mechanical interface formed in the housing that may be configured to receive a laptop lock. The security medallion may also include a circuit board positioned within the housing that may be operable to provide electronic monitoring of the security medallion. The security medallion may further include a power source positioned within the housing and coupled to the circuit board, and an attachment member supported on the housing and having an adhesive configured to selectively bond to the portable object. The adhesive may be releasable from the portable object by application of a release means.

A lockset is provided with a sensor assembly for detecting tampering with the cylinder. A lock cylinder with a cylinder body and a cylinder plug disposed in the cylinder body is provided. The cylinder plug is configured to deform and/or separate from the cylinder body when a sufficient force is applied. A sensor assembly is provided that detects when the cylinder plug deforms and/or separates from the cylinder body. In some embodiments, the sensor assembly could detect when the cylinder plug deforms and/or separates from the cylinder body with a strain gauge, a continuity circuit, a micro-switch, an optical sensor, an accelerometer and/or a contact microphone.
