A thermoplastic molding composition having improved melt flow and chemical resistance is disclosed. The composition contains A) at least one member selected from the group consisting of aromatic polycarbonate and polyester carbonate, B) a graft polymer of at least one vinyl monomer on at least one rubber having a glass transition temperature of &#x3c;10&#xb0; C. as graft base and C) vinyl (co)polymer having weight-average molecular weight of 1500 to 5000 g/mol and glass transition temperature of &#x3e;40&#xb0; C. The composition may optionally further contain D) a phosphorus-based flame retardant and E) an anti-dripping agent.

Polycarbonate molding compositions with improved melt flow and chemical resistance

A thermoplastic molding composition containing talc is disclosed. The composition wherein talc has a median particle size of less than 1000 nm further contains a polycarbonate and/or polyester-carbonate, and a graft polymer having as graft base a rubber having a glass transition temperature of below about 10&#xb0; C. is suitable for preparing molded articles having improved mechanical properties, such as weld line strength, elongation at break and toughness at low temperatures.

Impact-modified polymer composition

A mineral-filled, impact-resistant thermoplastic molding composition is disclosed. The composition contains at least one resin selected from the group consisting of polycarbonate and polyester carbonate B) impact resistance modifier, and C) wollastonite having carbon content greater than 0.1% relative to the weight of the wollastonite as determined by elemental analysis. Exhibiting high modulus of elasticity and a good toughness, in particular also at low temperatures, the composition is suitable for car body external applications.

Mineral-reinforced impact-resistant modified polycarbonate blends

A thermoplastic molding composition having improved impact strength at low temperatures is disclosed. The composition contains A) polycarbonate and/or polyester carbonate B) a graft polymer based on ethylene-&agr;-olefin rubber as graft base, C) wollastonite having carbon content greater than 0.1% relative to the weight of the wollastonite and D) at least one of triglyceride, aliphatic saturated hydrocarbon and aliphatic unsaturated hydrocarbon.
