A direct current measuring device having at least one first magnetic sensor and at least one second magnetic sensor sensitive to a magnetic field generated by an electric current flowing in a conductor. The measuring device includes a processing unit connected to the magnetic sensors and generates an output signal dependent on measurement signals supplied by the magnetic sensors. The processing unit includes selection means supplying the output signal and is dependent, for weak electric currents, on the first measurement signals from a first magnetic sensor, and is dependent, for strong electric currents, on the second measurement signals from a second magnetic sensor.

A circuit breaker is equipped with a motorized control acting on an operating member oscillating between a loaded position and a closed position, passing via a closing dead point position. When the unit is open or reset by means of the motorized control, the operating member is moved to an indexed position close to the closing dead point position, so as to minimize the closing time. The circuit breaker also has an opening dead point position. To minimize the opening-closing cycle time, the motor drives the operating member from the closed position to an indexed turning position situated between the opening dead point position and the loaded position, before changing direction.

The current transformer comprises a magnetic circuit associated to a primary conductor and a secondary winding connected to a trip relay. The magnetic circuit comprises a mobile part and a fixed part. The mobile part goes from an open position to a closed position when a primary current flowing in the primary conductor exceeds a preset value. The change of position of the mobile part makes the magnetic flux in the magnetic circuit vary which induces a secondary current in the secondary winding to actuate the trip relay. Application, notably to trip devices and circuit breakers.

The protection relay comprises a processing unit and temperature sensors associated to conductors, an ambient temperature sensor, and setting devices connected to circuits which perform tripping functions. A first short delay tripping circuit supplies a tripping order to a relay if a value of the temperature variation of a conductor exceeds a first setting threshold. A second long delay tripping circuit supplies a tripping order to the relay if a value of the temperature difference between the temperature of a conductor and the ambient temperature exceeds a second setting threshold. The protection relay is used notably for trip devices and circuit breakers.

The trip device comprises a magnetic circuit having a first and second fixed parts, a movable element and an adjustment device. The adjustment device comprises a shunt and an air gap arranged between the first and second fixed parts branched off with respect to the mobile element. The tripping threshold of the trip device is modified by varying the air gap distance between the shunt and the second fixed part. In a circuit breaker, the mobile element acts on an opening mechanism and an adjustment part acts on the adjustment device making the air gap distance vary. A sensor associated to the magnetic circuit supplies a measurement signal to a processing unit.
