A combined toilet grey water system for passenger transportation vehicles such as aircrafts includes a toilet bowl for receiving waste water and a basin for receiving grey water. Moreover, the system includes a flushing line and a flushing valve with an inlet and an outlet. The outlet of the flushing valve is connectable to a vacuum waste water system. The inlet of the flushing valve is connected via the flushing line to the toilet bowl. Therein, the basin is connected to the flushing line in such a way that the basin is connectable to the vacuum waste water system.

Combination of vacuum toilet and grey water system functions

The system for flushing a vacuum toilet contains a urinal basin having a drain, which is connected to a drain line, and a bypass line, into which the drain line discharges, and which is connectable via a suction valve to a vacuum system. By generating a main air current in the bypass line and a secondary air current in the drain line, a noise emission in the area of the urinal basin may be significantly reduced.

A closing device for a vacuum user system or vacuum toilet system of an aircraft that makes it possible to quickly open and close a pipe connection piece in a vacuum user system or in a vacuum toilet system of an aircraft. The closing device comprises a cover; a closing element that can be inserted into the pipe connection piece and is connected to the cover by a spacer and is designed such that it substantially fully covers a cross section of the pipe connection piece; a sealing bellows located between the cover and the closing element and that at least partly encloses the spacer, wherein the sealing bellows comprises a sealing face; and an element that is movable in relation to the cover, which element is movable from a first position to a second position, wherein the movable element engages the sealing bellows such that the sealing face of the sealing bellows in the second position has a greater extension in a plane across the spacer than it does in the first position.

A device to diagnose a vacuum system comprises a pipe with a first opening that can be closed by a hingable cover, and a second opening that is designed to establish a pressure-proof connection to the vacuum system. The diagnostic device may be operated in a volume-flow mode in which the cover is open in order to determine a volume flow in the base body, and in a negative-pressure mode in which the cover is closed so as to allow to draw conclusions about the available pressure difference.
