An elongated object label applicator has a driver operably connected to a wrapping mechanism. The wrapping mechanism has a plurality of guide rollers spaced about a central portion. A belt is tensioned around the guide rollers and across an opening in the central portion through which an object to labeled is received. The belt is deflectable against an elastic force such that the belt can be recessed with the central portion by a force provided by the object to be labeled. The wrapping mechanism is driven by the driver to rotate the guide rollers about an axis of rotation of the wrapping mechanism passing through the central portion. The wrapping mechanism orbits the object to be labeled located within the central portion.

Elongated object labeling device

A mechanism used to select a label size to be applied to a cable in a label applicator. The mechanism includes an index plate, an index arm, and a wedge carrier. The index arm is pivotably mounted to the index plate and the wedge carrier is mounted to the index plate. The wedge carrier has guide rollers that dictate a label path. The index arm moves the index plate which linearly moves the wedge carrier thereby adjusting the label path in the label applicator.

Mechanism for label size selection

The present invention is directed to a circuit breaker lockout. The circuit breaker lockout includes a base, a screw positioned within the base and a jaw. The base has a top and a bottom. The jaw has a top, a bottom and sides that define an open center having a first length. The base is positioned between the sides of the jaw in the open center. The bottom of the base extends in the open center and the top of the base extends above the top of the jaw. The jaw slides with respect to the base when the screw is actuated to decrease the first length of the open center to a second length thereby enabling the lockout to surround the switch of a circuit breaker.

Circuit breaker lockout

A method and apparatus for printing labels with reduced waste. The method includes printing a label on an end-portion of a label roll and advancing the label roll such that the end-portion passes a cutter mechanism. The cutter mechanism cuts the end-portion, thereby defining a new end-portion. The method further includes reversing the label roll to align the new end-portion with a printer head. The apparatus may be a drive mechanism that includes a roller for feeding label material in a forward feed mode and in a reverse feed mode. The drive mechanism has a drive clutch configured to engage with a take-up printer ribbon spool. The drive clutch may be operated to (i) transfer a driving force to the take-up printer ribbon spool in a forward feed mode and (ii) allow a release of printer ribbon in a reverse feed mode. The drive mechanism further includes a reverse clutch having a return spring. The reverse clutch may engage with a payout printer ribbon spool and may be operated to (i) prime the return spring of the in the forward feed mode and (ii) transfer a driving force from the return spring to the payout printer ribbon spool in the reverse feed mode. The drive mechanism may be incorporated into a hand-held printer, and therein interact with a removable label cassette to reduce waste of the label material and/or ink ribbon.

A blockout device for a USB port is disclosed. The USB port has an inner channel and metal clips positioned within the channel. The blockout device has a front that covers the inner channel of the USB port. The blockout device also includes a top, a bottom and sides extending from the front. The bottom extends parallel to the top with an open area therebetween. When the blockout device is installed in the USB port, the sides engage the metal clips positioned in the channel of the USB port to secure the blockout device to the USB port.

A block-out cover is installed in a jack module to prevent entry of undesirable objects. The block-out cover includes at least one window and at least one locking arm. The locking arm secures the cover to the jack module. The window receives a removal tool designed to remove the cover from the jack module. The removal tool includes a body, a lever secured to the body to engage the cover and a prong with a cam surface. The cam surface of the prong deflects the cover from locking engagement with the jack module allowing the removal tool to remove the block-out cover.

A material cutter for producing a selected cutting profile. The material cutter includes a cutter frame and a cutter button. The cutter frame has a stationary blade. The cutter button, which is slidably mounted in the cutter frame, has a moving blade with a cutting edge. The cutter button preferably includes a profile selector, so that when a driving force is applied to the cutter button, the moving blade slides past the stationary blade to the extent allowed by the profile selector. The profile selector may be a knob and the cutting profile may be set manually or automatically. It is preferred that at least one of the selectable cutting profiles is a partial cut.

Method for removing a cover from a jack module

A system comprises a plug locking assembly and a key. The plug locking assembly comprises a cover for receiving and holding a plug comprising a latch and a latch support surface positionable under the latch. A rotatable cam comprising a stop surface and a slot may carry the latch support surface and may interact with a cam latch comprising an arm. The arm is alternately positionable to abut the stop surface and to lie within the slot. The key may comprise a shaft, a key tab and a limit tab. The key mates with a key receiving member associated with the cover. The limit tab is positioned on a top surface of the shaft and helps prevent over-rotation of the latch support member.
