The invention relates to an additive composition, which comprises an additive mixture that essentially consists of a) At least one ammonium phosphate ester; b) At least one thiophosphoric acid ester, and c) At least one dithiophosphoric acid derivative; in combination with sulphur containing oil additives; and a process for the reduction of wear in combustion engines, such as spark ignition or Diesel motor engines.

The invention relates to a composition comprising a mixture of alkylated N-&#x3b1;-naphthyl-Nphenylamine (PANA) and alkylated diphenylamine (DPA), the product obtainable by alkylating PANA or a mixture of PANA and DPA with alkenes and the process for alkylating PANA or a mixture of PANA and DPA with alkenes. The compositions according to the present invention have an outstanding anti-oxidative action, which can be demonstrated by established test methods.

The present invention relates to improved lubricant compositions highly resistant to oxidative degradation comprising selected 5-tert.-butyl-4hydroxy-3-methylphenyl substituted fatty acid esters, diphenylamines and zinc dithiophosphates. The compositions as defined above are characterized by superior antioxidative properties. This can be demonstrated in various standard tests such as Deposit and Oxidation Panel Test (DOPT) and Pressurized Differential Scanning Calorimetry (PDSC).
