An adapter for a gas turbine engine has a first portion with a control module mount interface. A second portion with a sensor mount interface defines a sensor mount position relative to a control module. A connecting body connects the first and second portions such that the second portion provides a re-orientated sensor mount position relative to the control module. A lubrication system for a gas turbine engine is also disclosed.

Sensor adapter

A mount assembly is described. The mount assembly may comprise a base unit having a surface, an extension unit stacked on and connected to the surface, and a clamp unit stacked on and connected to the extension unit.

Modular mount assembly

A disclosed harness assembly includes a base including a mounting surface and an opening that receives a mount end of a harness clip. A lockable clip is moveable between open and closed positions to secure one or more supply conduits or wire harnesses. The opening of the base includes a securement feature that corresponds with the mount end to hold the harness in a desired orientation relative to the base, to provide a fixed topographical routing.

A containerless method of producing a crack free metallic article of near-net shape includes melting a filler material into a metallic substrate or seed under conditions chosen to preclude cracking. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, a laser beam is operated at a relatively low power density and at a relatively large beam diameter at the substrate surface for an extended length of time to produce a molten pool with a low aspect ratio. Near-net shape is achieved by applying the process in a closed-loop, multi-axis material deposition system.

A method of evacuating uncured resin from internal passages of semi-hollow stereolithographically produced objects includes, subjecting the object to air flow for between about 0.5 hours and about 2 hours, at a temperature greater than about 75.degree. F.; externally cleaning the object with alcohol; submerging the object in a bath of alcohol, wherein the bath is internally agitated; removing the object from the bath and repeating the above steps to displace any residual resin, wherein total object exposure time to alcohol does not exceed three hours.
