The invention relates to novel pharmaceutical compositions comprising 2-isoxazole-8-aminotetralin derivatives. The invention more specifically relates to compositions in the form of a patch comprising a therapeutically efficacious amount of a derivative of 2-isoxazole-8-aminotetraline, especially 1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-8(5-isoxazolyl)N-N-diisopropyl-2-naphtalenamine. The invention also relates to a 2-isoxazole-8-aminotetralin derivative, especially 1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-8-(5-isoxazolyl)-N,N-diisopropyl-2-naphtalenamine, which is used to produce a medicament which can be administered transdermally to treat irritable bowel syndrome.

Pharmaceutical compositions comprising 2-isoxazoles-8-aminotetralin derivatives

Solid or semisolid pharmaceutical composition comprising a gellable and water-soluble peptide salt optionally combined with an appropriate excipient, said pharmaceutical composition being characterized in that the peptide salt has a high specific surface area and in that, once injected into a patient, it forms a gel in contact with this patient's body substances, said gel being capable of releasing the peptide over a prolonged period of at least 15 days.

Pharmaceutical compositions for prolonged peptide release and preparation method

The invention relates to compositions in the form of microcapsules or implants comprising a biodegradable polymeric or copolymeric excipient or a mixture of such excipients with an inherent viscosity of between 0.5 dl/g and 1.6 dl/g in CHCl , and one active substance or a mixture of active substances, it being possible for said microcapsules or implants to release the active substance or mixture of active substances over a prolonged period of up to three months or more. These compositions may also comprise an active principle having a high specific surface area.
