The present invention relates primarily to fragrance substance mixtures, preferably perfume oils, comprising or consisting of (a) 8,8-dimethyl-6,10-dioxaspiro[4,5]decane, i.e. a compound of formula (I) as described herein, and additionally (b) one or more fragrance substance(s) selected from the group consisting of esters, lactones, oximes and sulphur compounds with a molar mass of 240 g/mol or less and/or (c) one or more fragrance substance(s) selected from the group consisting of acetals, ketones and ethers with a molar mass in the range of 126-240 g/mol. The invention further relates to methods for the production of fragrance substance mixtures according to the invention, methods for enhancing the natural freshness and/or radiance and/or for masking or reducing sulphurous, artificial and/or metallic notes of one or more fragrance substances different from the compound of formula (I), perfumed products containing a fragrance substance mixture according to the invention, methods for producing perfumed products according to the invention and the use of the compound of formula (I) for enhancing the natural freshness and/or radiance and/or for masking and/or reducing sulphurous, artificial and/or metallic notes of one or more fragrance substances different from the compound of formula (I).

Suggested is a fragrance mixture comprising specific esters of (&#x2212;)-carveol and/or (&#x2212;)-dihydro-carveol.

Fragrance mixtures

Described is in particular a fragrance mixture, preferably perfume oil, comprising the components (a) (tricyclo[5.2.1.0]-decane-8-ethyl ether) and additionally (b) one or more fragrance(s), preferably with a floral odor note, from the group consisting of alcohols and aldehydes having a molecular weight of 210 g/mol or less and/or (c) one or more fragrance(s) from the group consisting of ketones, ethers and esters having a molecular weight in the range from 190 g/mol to 250 g/mol. Furthermore, the present invention relates to methods for producing fragrance mixtures according to the invention, in particular perfume oils, perfumed products containing a fragrance mixture according to the invention, methods for producing perfumed products according to the invention as well as the use of the compound of formula (I) for enhancing the natural freshness and/or radiance and/or for masking or reducing greasy, technical and/or metallic notes of one or more fragrances different from the compound of formula (I).

The invention relates to fragrant mixtures comprising at least one compound of general formula (I), a method for producing claimed fragrant mixtures, particularly perfume oils, perfumed products containing the claimed fragrant mixture, and the use of the compound of general formula (I) to strengthen the natural freshness and/or emanation and/or to mask or reduce greasy and/or metallic notes of one or more fragrant substances that differ from the compound of formula (I).

The present invention primarily relates to the use of 5-bicyclo[2.2.1]hept-2-enyl-acetate as fragrance and/or flavouring substance. The invention further relates to new fragrance and/or flavour substance compositions comprising 5-bicyclo[2.2.1]hept-2-enyl-acetate and their use, perfumed and/or flavoured articles comprising 5-bicyclo[2.2.1]hept-2-enyl-acetate and various methods for imparting, modifying and/or enhancing certain olfactory and/or taste notes.
