A selective release with a moving element is disclosed. The moving element is here mounted such that the moving element, in addition to the motion about its swivel axis, is guided in its motion by way of a brace. As a result of this, the moving element is mounted such that the trajectory of the blocking element essentially runs in a plane which extends transversely to the direction of flow of the flow channel.

Release for an electrical switching arrangement

An electrical switch with an at least two-part housing is disclosed, with a first housing part and second housing part connected to the first housing part, and with the first housing part including a connecting section for connection of a motor drive. In at least one embodiment, the switch includes at least one connecting screw which includes a first thread joining together the first and the second housing part and, on a screw end section facing away from the second housing part, includes a second thread projecting from the first housing part, onto which the motor drive can be screwed indirectly or directly.

Electric switch

An electric switch is disclosed including an at least two-part housing including a first housing part, a second housing part connected to the first housing part and including at least one pole cartridge which is enclosed by the two-part housing and is preassembled in the second housing part. In at least one embodiment, the first housing part is connected to the pole cartridge with the aid of at least one fastening device.

A multipole electrical switching device is disclosed with an outer housing in which at least two separate switching pole housings are accommodated. In at least one embodiment, the at least two separate switching pole housings on walls facing towards one another, each have a least one mounting which form a mounting pair assigned to one another. In at least one embodiment, for mechanical connection of the at least two separate switching pole housings, the mounting pair is assigned at least one connection device which engages into the two mountings forming the mounting pair. The two mountings forming the mounting pair, in relation to a dividing joint formed between the two facing walls, each form an undercut, whereby the at least one connecting device engages behind the undercuts and the at least one connecting device is formed in a primary process in one piece on the outer housing.

Multipole electrical switching device

An arrangement includes an electrical switch which has a handle that can assume at least three different positions, namely an ON position, an OFF position and a TRIPPED position, and a motor drive that is mounted on said switch and is provided for the purpose of activating the handle. According to an embodiment of the invention, provision is made for the motor drive to feature a motor-drive-specific indicator entity which indicates whether the switch can be closed by way of the motor drive, wherein the motor-drive-specific indicator entity is connected to at least one switch-specific actuator and to at least one motor-drive-specific actuator, and indicates a closure-unreadiness of the arrangement if at least one of the actuators signals a closure-unreadiness.

Electrical switch operable through both manual and motor driven operations

An arrangement including at least two separate switch pole housings and a joining facility for joining the switch pole housings. Each of the switch pole housings forms an insulating enclosure of a switching space for receiving a single switch pole of an electric switching device. A side wall of a first switch pole housing, facing a second one of the switch pole housings, includes at least one recess for receiving at least one joining device of the joining facility. The at least one recess forms a first undercut with respect to a side wall and a first locating surface in parallel with a front wall of the housing. The at least one joining device engages behind the first undercut and is braced against a first locating surface.

A power circuit breaker is intended to be effectively locked in a simple manner in a withdrawable-part rack. For this purpose, a locking device is provided having a first component, which is fixed in the withdrawable-part rack, and a second component, which is fixed to the power circuit breaker. The first component and the second component do not engage with one another in the inserted position. However, in the event of a short circuit they engage with one another in a tilted position of the power circuit breaker, which position is rotated with respect to the inserted position, with the result that the power circuit breaker is locked in the withdrawable-part rack.

Switching apparatus having a withdrawable-part rack and a lockable power circuit breaker

A switching contact arrangement is for a power switch, wherein a plurality of contact levers are pivoted on a contact support via a bearing pin. The contact support is provided with at least three support elements for radially supporting the bearing pin. In order to simplify production of the contact support, at least three of the support elements are configured as a one-piece shaped element that forms the contact support. At least one of the support elements can have a metal element that is at least partially embedded in a plastic shaped element of the contact support. The metal element can be configured as a sheet metal part.

Switching contact arrangement for a power switch

A latching mechanism is for locking an actuating shaft of an electrical switch, which can be transferred from an OFF position into an ON position by a drive train counter to the force of at least one first spring, in its ON position. The latching mechanism includes a first lever, which is pivotably coupled to the drive train of the actuating shaft and is supported against a stop held in a locking position. For accelerated release of the actuating shaft, also provided is a second lever, which has a working surface assigned to the stop. In this case, the second lever is held in a first stop position against the first lever by way of a second spring. When the second lever pivots under the action of an initiating force, which opposes the force of the second spring, the working surface acts in such a way on the stop that the stop is transferred into a release position. In order to release the actuating shaft more quickly, the forces of the two springs act independently of one another on the first lever, so that a mechanism which provides the initiating force can be formed independently of the drive train.

Latching mechanism for locking an actuating shaft and electrical switch with a latching mechanism of this type

A locking device is for low-voltage circuit-breakers. It can travel into a frame including a lock and a control member to be activated through the lock. The control member interacts with an internal locking slide when a circuit-breaker is moved into the frame, the locking slide being displaceably guided in the circuit-breaker. If the locking device is activated ('locked'), the control member acts on the internal locking slide of the circuit-breaker and ensures that the circuit breaker cannot be switched on. If circuit-breakers with locking slides that can be displaced vertically are used, the control member is situated underneath the circuit-breaker.

Locking device for withdrawable circuit-breakers

A power circuit breaker includes a switching pole enclosure for accommodating at least one switching pole, whose switching contacts, when closed, rest against one another on a predetermined contact plane. It further includes a switching shaft for transferring drive forces to the at least one switching pole. The switching pole enclosure includes a first and a second enclosure shell, which rest against one another along a separating joint running essentially parallel to the contact plane, and in which the switching shaft is mounted by use of at least two switching shaft mounts held on the first enclosure shell. At least one first and one second fastening device, each serving the purpose of connecting the two enclosure shells, is in each case supported on the one hand on the second enclosure shell and on the other hand on one of the switching shaft mounts.

Power circuit breaker

A latching mechanism is for locking a spring energy store of an electric switching device. The store is tensioned by a rotary drive and an extensible lever system. In the latching mechanism, the extensible lever system is locked with the spring energy store under tension by way of a support element, an auxiliary lock and a primary lock, in addition to a stop that is allocated to the primary lock. The auxiliary lock can be pivoted by the extension of the lever system and the position of the primary lock during the pivoting of the auxiliary lock can be influenced by working surfaces that are allocated to one another. To configure the locking mechanism for pivoting the primary lock in a manner which obviates the use of a return spring that acts on said primary lock, the auxiliary lock and the primary lock respectively have at least two working surfaces. In a first pivoting phase of the auxiliary lock, the respective first surfaces of the two sets of working surfaces lie adjacent to one another and in a second pivoting phase of the auxiliary lock, the second working surfaces lie adjacent to one another, intermeshing in the manner of a toothed gear.

Latching mechanism for locking a spring energy store

A drive train is for a displaceable contact on a breaker contact arrangement in an electrical power breaker. A coupling element displaceable against a stop and arranged between the moveable contact and corresponding drive element is provided with an anti-bounce device, including a catch element and a counter piece. The catch element which may be swung into a catch position as a result of the inertia exerted on the centre of gravity thereof, when the coupling element strikes the stop, includes a working surface extending in the pivoting direction to forma momentary working connection with the counter piece. A retaining spring is additionally provided on the catch element to guarantee that a rebounding of the coupling element into the position corresponding to the close state of the breaker contact arrangement does not occur.

Drive train for a displaceable contact on an electrical power breaker

A device is for controlling the closing of a power circuit breaker according to operational parameters. The device includes an indication element for indicating the readiness for closing and a coupling element which interacts with the indication element. The operational parameters, for example, energy store empty or switchgear cell door open cause the indication element to pivot into the position not ready for closing and cause the coupling element to move into its disabled position. The indication element for indicating the readiness for closing and additional indication elements, which represent the position of the switching contacts and the state of the energy store, are adjacently arranged in an axial manner such that they can pivot and are provided with interacting drives in order to effect a forced drive of the indication element for indicating the readiness for closing when the position of the switching contacts or the state of the energy store does not enable or permit a closing of the power circuit breaker.

Device for controlling the closing of a power circuit breaker

A low-voltage power switch, includes a drive device, fixed by way of a supporting framework and an associated switch shaft, fixed by way of two axially external bearing sub-assemblies, to the switch pole sub-assembly. In order to ensure that the fitting corresponds to a position based on separate examination of the drive device, the bearing arrangement has an additional, axially central bearing sub-assembly. The bearing sub-assembly includes two half-shells which are axially fixed by way of guide surfaces, whereby one is radially supported on the switch pole sub-assembly and the other is radially supported on the supporting framework of the drive device.
