A one-way clutch includes a retainer (), a spring () guided by the retainer, and sprags () which are pivotally provided in respective pockets of the retainer and respective pockets of the spring. A rounded section () is formed on an outer diameter side of each of tongue-like flaps () of the spring. Guide sections () are formed at respective corners on one side of each pocket with respect to a circumferential direction thereof. The width (D) of a space between the guide sections is set so as to become greater than the width (T) of each of the tongue-like flaps formed in the spring, and the rounded section () is housed in the space between the guide sections.

One-way clutch

A one-way clutch including at least two concentric rings one of the rings carrying at least one ratchet pawl, and the other of the rings including ratchet teeth which engage the at least one ratchet pawl so as to allow relative rotational movement of the at least two rings in one rotational direction, and to provide a clutch between those rings in the operate rotational direction. At least one of the rings includes two identical half rings which are connected to each other and which at least partly enclose the other rings at axially opposite ends.

Free wheel device, of the type corn sing an outer ring equipped with an interior slideway, an inner ring or shaft equipped with an exterior slideway, a free wheel placed between the slideway of the outer ring and the slideway of the inner ring and comprising a number of cams placed in windows of a cylindrical part of a single cage and providing a one-way coupling between the outer and inner rings, and at least one bearing placed radially between the outer an inner rings and intended to keep the outer and inner rings concentric. At least a free end of the cylindrical part of the cage is centered radially on a cylindrical guiding bearing surface formed on the bearing adjacent to the free end, the cylindrical bearing surface being arranged so that it is coaxial with the slideways, approximately mid-way between the slideways.

Free wheel device with lateral plain bearings

Freewheel device,of the type comprising an outer ring,having an inner sliding path,, an inner ring,or a shaft having an outer sliding path,, a freewheel,disposed between the sliding path of the outer ring and the sliding path of the inner ring and comprising a plurality of cams,disposed in windows,in a cylindrical part,a of at least one cage,and assuring unidirectional coupling between the outer and inner rings, and at least one bearing member,disposed radially between the outer and inner rings for maintaining said outer and inner rings concentric, said bearing member having a radial part,a provided with at least two holes for circulation of lubricant. At least one hole is near the outer ring.

Freewheel device with lateral bearings

Freewheel device 1, of the type comprising an outer race 2 which has an inner track 3, an inner race 4 which has an outer track 4, a freewheel 6 situated between the tracks of the said races, at least one member 7 forming a bearing intended to keep the said races 2, 4 concentric, and at least one lateral retaining endplate 12, secured to one of the races in order axially to hold the freewheel 6 and the member forming the bearing with respect to the said race. The endplate 12 comprises a first radial portion 12a adjacent to the corresponding holding member 7 for retaining it axially, and a second more or less radial portion 12b cut into tabs projecting into an annular groove 21 formed in one of the races, the said endplate coming into contact with a side wall 21a of the said groove.
