One method includes providing, by a graphical user interface (GUI) of a wallet application, a customer request, wherein the customer request is a request for a currency transfer between a customer account of the customer to a recipient account of a recipient, wherein the customer account is associated with a first type of currency and the recipient account is associated with a second type of currency, presenting, by the GUI of the wallet application, a locked-in exchange rate for a time limit and data corresponding to the exchange rate and the time limit, exchanging, by the wallet application, an amount of the first type of currency for an amount of the second type of currency based on the exchange rate, and receiving, by the GUI of the wallet application, an indication of a transferred amount for a currency transfer.

Systems and methods for foreign currency exchange and transfer

Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media utilized receiving a customer request via a graphical user interface (GUI) of a wallet application, extracting transfer information from the customer request based on a smart contract and identifying the transfer information in predefined fields, determining the customer account is associated with a first type of currency and the recipient account is associated with a second type of currency, automatically determining and locking-in an exchange rate, transmitting data corresponding to the exchange rate to the GUI, exchanging an amount of the first type of currency for an amount of the second type of currency based on the exchange rate, transferring an amount for the currency transfer from the wallet application to the recipient account via an omnibus account based on executing a smart contract on a distributed ledger, and transmitting a confirmation of the currency transfer to the GUI of the wallet application.

An example method for implementing a charitable giving experience can include: receiving a scanned image of a logo of a charity at an augmented reality (AR) electronic device, the logo including a graphic associated with the charity; after receiving the scanned image, displaying at least the logo and details related to the charity on the AR electronic device; displaying a control on the AR electronic device, wherein the control corresponds to one or more charitable giving opportunities associated with the charity; receiving a selection of the control on the AR electronic device; and initiating a charitable giving to the charity from the AR electronic device.

Systems and methods relating to currency exchange and currency transfer are provided. A computer-implemented method includes receiving, by a provider computing system associated with an accounts provider, a customer request via a mobile wallet application on a mobile device associated with a customer. The customer request includes a currency transfer request from a mobile wallet held by the customer to a recipient. The method further includes identifying the recipient from the customer request and a partner accounts provider associated with the recipient, communicating with the partner accounts provider regarding the currency transfer, transferring an amount for the currency transfer from the mobile wallet to the partner accounts provider via an omnibus account held by the accounts provider on a distributed ledger, and transmitting a confirmation of the currency transfer to the customer.
