The present technology is directed generally to devices, systems, and methods for enclosing anatomical openings. In one example, an aneurysm device is endovascularly deliverable to a site proximate to an arterial aneurysm. The aneurysm device can include a closure structure having a distal-facing aspect configured to at least partially occlude the aneurysm and a proximal-facing aspect configured to arch over lumina of an artery. The closure structure can include a plurality of struts forming support arms and anchoring arms. The device further includes a supplemental stabilizer connected to the closure structure and configured to reside in the artery and press outward against a luminal wall thereof. A barrier can span at least a portion of the distal-facing aspect of the closure structure and be configured to further occlude a neck of the aneurysm. The closure structure can be configured to restrict and/or divert flow to or from the aneurysm.

Devices, systems and methods for enclosing an anatomical opening

Implants can be used as flow diverters for treating aneurysms. Implants can include a stabilizing frame for anchoring the implant and an occluding element for diverting blood flow from the aneurysm neck. The stabilizing frame can have two parts, the first part sized to anchor within the sac of the aneurysm and the exterior part sized to anchor against a region of the blood vessel wall adjacent the aneurysm neck. The occluding element can be attached to the interior frame and positioned to occlude the aneurysm neck. The implant can have a central node that can be positioned near the center of the aneurysm neck at which the interior frame is attached to the exterior frame and from which the interior frame and the exterior frame extend.

Intrasaccular flow diverter for treating cerebral aneurysms

The present technology is directed generally to devices, systems, and methods for enclosing anatomical openings. Methods, devices and systems for acquiring information useful to support a patient in implementing and adhering to a medically prescribed therapy plan are provided. The therapy may incorporate biofeedback methods and/or personalized therapy aspects. A method includes steps of receiving, by a receiving device, biometric information associated with an ingestible event marker; analyzing, by a computing device having a microprocessor configured to perform a biometric information analysis, the biometric information; and determining a therapeutic recommendation at least partly on the basis of the analysis and/or integrating biofeedback techniques into patient therapy or activity. A system includes a biometric information module to receive biometric information associated with an ingestible event marker; an analysis module to analyze the biometric information; and a determination module to optionally determine and communicate a therapeutic recommendation at least partly on the basis of the analysis.

Ingestion-related biofeedback and personalized medical therapy method and system

The present disclosure describes implantable therapeutic devices and methods for endovascular placement of devices at a target site, such as an opening at a neck of an aneurysm. In particular, selected embodiments of the present technology comprise a coil loop, or tip, on a portion of the implantable device. The coil tip can provide a soft and/or smooth interface with the aneurysm and can provide improved coverage of the neck of the aneurysm.

Systems and methods for enclosing an anatomical opening, including coil-tipped aneurysm devices

Implantable stimulation devices are provided. Aspects of the devices include a multiplexed multi-electrode component configured for neural stimulation. The multiplexed multi-electrode component includes two or more individually addressable satellite electrode structures electrically coupled to a common conductor. In one aspect, the ingestible therapy activator includes an ingestible device having an effector module to send an effector instruction and a responder module associated with a therapeutic device. The responder module may receive and process the effector instruction, resulting in a response by the therapeutic device. Examples of responses by therapeutic device include activating a therapy, deactivating a therapy, modulating a therapy, and discontinuing a therapy.

Ingestible therapy activator system and method

Methods and apparatus for occluding blood flow within a blood vessel. In a first series of embodiments, the present invention comprises a plurality of embolic devices deployable through the lumen of a conventional catheter such that when deployed, said embolic devices remain resident and occlude blood flow at a specific site within the lumen of the blood vessel. Such embolic devices comprise either mechanical embolic devices that become embedded within or compress against the lumen of the vessel or chemical vaso-occlusive agents that seal off blood flow at a given site. A second embodiment of the present invention comprises utilization of a vacuum/cauterizing device capable of sucking in the lumen of the vessel about the device to maintain the vessel in a closed condition where there is then applied a sufficient amount of energy to cause the tissue collapsed about the device to denature into a closure. In a third series of embodiments, the present invention comprises the combination of an embolization facilitator coupled with the application of an energy force to form an intraluminal closure at a specified site within a vessel.
