The present disclosure is directed to charge generating compositions and methods of making the charge generating compositions. The composition may comprise one or more polymers comprising styrene units and allyl alcohol units, and one or more photoconductive particles. Electrophotographic devices employing the compositions, including methods of making the devices, are also disclosed.

Charge generating composition

An overcoat containing a copolymer of a first propylene monomer and a second hydrophilic monomer provides superior wear resistance and low torque to a photoreceptor.

Low torque overcoat for imaging device

A photoconductor that includes, for example, a supporting substrate, an optional ground plane layer, an optional hole blocking layer, an optional adhesive layer, a photogenerating layer, and a charge transport layer, and where the charge transport layer contains a mixture of a charge transport component and a tetraaryl polycarbonate.

A photoconductor that includes a photogenerating layer and a charge transport layer containing a charge transport component, a fluorinated polymer, and a core shell component, and wherein the core is comprised of a metal oxide and the shell is comprised of silica.

Polyfluorinated core shell photoconductors

A photoconductor that includes, for example, a supporting substrate, an undercoat layer thereover wherein the undercoat layer contains a metal oxide, a phenolic resin, and a phosphate; a photogenerating layer; and at least one charge transport layer.

Phosphate containing photoconductors

A photoconductor that includes, for example, a supporting substrate, a photogenerating layer, and at least one charge transport layer, and where the photogenerating layer contains at least one photogenerating component, and a mixture of an ester thiol and a poly(vinyl halide) copolymer.
