The present invention relates to the use of polyhydroxyalkanoates as additives in coating compositions and also to coating compositions comprising polyhydroxylalkanoates as matting agents. The present invention further relates to coatings produced with the coating composition of the invention, comprising polyhydroxyalkanoates, on a substrate.

Use of polyhydroxyalkanoates as additives in coating compositions

The present invention relates to the use of modified polysiloxanes in thermally curing coating material compositions and molding materials, and to thermally curing coating material compositions and molding materials comprising modified polysiloxanes. The present invention also relates to coatings on a substrate, and to moldings which have been produced with such a coating material composition or molding material.

Use of modified polysiloxanes in coating material compositions and molding materials

The invention relates to polyisocyanate adducts obtainable by reacting at least one polysiloxane of the structure (I), at least one polyisocyanate having at least three NCO groups, at least one (meth)acrylate of the structure (II), where U is one of the following groups: (III), and optionally a compound reactive with isocyanates. The indices m, n, x and y assume values of 0 to 100. In addition, t=2 to 30, s=1 to 400 and i=1 to 5. The radicals identified by the letter R are suitable organic groups. The invention further relates to a process for preparing the polyisocyanate adducts and to a radiation-curable coating composition comprising at least one radiation-curable polymer as a binder and at least one inventive polyisocyanate adduct. The invention further relates to the use of the inventive polyisocyanate adducts as an additive.

Polyisocyanate adducts as additives for radiation-curable coating material compositions

The invention relates to a copolymer which contains at least one polysiloxane group and the skeletal structure of which is an addition compound of at least one amine and at least one epoxide. The invention further relates to the use of said products as additives in coating agents, plastics, or homogeneous dispersions, e.g. as a dispersing agent for organic and inorganic pigments and fillers in oil-based compositions, or as a surface modifying agent.
