The present disclosure generally provides controls, apparatus, systems and methods for controlling a ventilation mechanism to efficiently manage the relative humidity of an area. The controls, apparatus, systems and methods utilize sensed relative humidity information and one or more inputs to provide for efficient automatic and/or manual control a ventilation mechanism in response to high humidity events within the area. The controls, apparatus, systems and methods provided herein efficiently automatically activate a ventilation mechanism through the use of sensed relative humidity information and user input. The controls, apparatus, systems and methods provided herein efficiently automatically deactivate a ventilation mechanism through the use of sensed relative humidity information and user input.

Apparatus and methods for controlling a ventilation mechanism

The present disclosure provides controls, apparatus, systems and methods for controlling a ventilation mechanism to manage relative humidity of an area. The controls, apparatus, systems and methods utilize sensed relative humidity information and one or more inputs to provide automatic and/or manual control of a ventilation mechanism in response to high humidity events within the area. The controls, apparatus, systems and methods provided herein automatically activate a ventilation mechanism through the use of sensed relative humidity information and user input. The controls, apparatus, systems and methods provided herein automatically deactivate a ventilation mechanism through the use of sensed relative humidity information and user input.

Threshold-based zero-crossing detection is provided. A power phase threshold detector detects when absolute value of a voltage level of the electrical power rises above a non-zero voltage threshold and outputs a zero-crossing signal to a controller to indicate occurrence of the zero-crossing. Delaying the zero-crossing signal to the point when the absolute value of the voltage level of the electrical power rises above the non-zero voltage threshold ensures completion of the zero-crossing of the power phase prior to signaling the controller. The controller provides signals to a switching circuit for controlling switching of electrical power to a load based on the zero-crossing indications.

By use of an implicit numerical method to estimate the response of a parametrically-controlled non-linear transfer function, non-linear filters, and feedback elements, the dynamic behavior and distortion effects of tube amplification stages are simulated. This provides the capability to reproduce the desired sounds of vintage and modern tube amplifier systems and effects with the conveniences and control associated with digital signal processing systems and software.

An method and apparatus that generates light at various up-angles. A planar surface having a plurality of LEDs equally spaced in a circular arc directs light at a conical reflector, which redirects the generated light in a 360-degree arc of light (i.e., light beam) that is then concentrated by a magnifying lens. The light beam has a small vertical angle of divergence and appears to originate from a point light source in the center of the conical reflector. A base assembly has mounting positions to which the planar surface, conical reflector and magnifying lens are secured and maintains the lantern in an up-right position. The base assembly includes a plurality of mounting positions for securing the planar surface at various predetermined distances from the conical reflector, thereby directing the generated light beam at a corresponding predetermined up-angle. In the preferred embodiment, light produced by four LEDs with 30-degree spreads is redirected by the 45-degree conical reflector to create a 360-degree arc of light outward from the conical reflector.
