A titanium-oxo-chelate catalyst formulation, comprising: (i) at least one compound of the formula (I), wherein R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, Rand Rindependently of each other are for example hydrogen, halogen, C-Calkyl, C-Caryl which is unsubstituted or substituted; or R, Rand Rand/or R, Rand Rand/or R, Rand Rand/or R, Rand Rtogether with the C-atom to which they are attached each form a C-Caryl group which is unsubstituted or substituted; or Rand Rand/or Rand Rand/or Rand Rand/or Rand Rtogether with the C-atom to which they are attached form a 5- to 7-membered carbocyclic ring; at least one chelate ligand compound of the formula (IIa), (IIb) or (IIc), wherein R, R, R, R, Rand Rare defined as above for formula (I), is suitable as photolatent catalyst formulation for polymerizing compounds, which are capable to crosslink in the presence of a Lewis acid.

The invention relates to the use of O-imino-iso-urea compounds as source of radicals to polymerizable compositions comprising these O-imino-iso-urea and to new O-imino-iso-urea compounds. The O-Imino-isoureas compounds are compounds of the formula (I) whereinand salts thereof.

O-imino-iso-urea compounds and polymerizable compositions thereof

The invention relates to the use of triazenes of formula (I) wherein Q is a direct bond or a bivalent radical &#x2014;(CRR)&#x2014;, Zis &#x2014;O&#x2014;, &#x2014;NR&#x2014;, &#x2014;CH&#x2014;, &#x2014;(CRR)&#x2014; or &#x2014;C(&#x2550;O)&#x2014; and Rto Rare optionally substituted hydrocarbon residues, as precursors for radicals useful in reactions triggered by free radicals, such as polymerization of unsaturated monomers and degradation of polyolefins. Most of the triazenes of formula (I) are novel and claimed, too, as well as the preparation of triazenes of formula (I) and polymerizable compositions comprising them. 

Polymerizable compositions

The invention relates to novel O-dialkylamino-isoureas and polymerizable compositions comprising these O-dialkylamino-isoureas of compounds of the general formula (I). The invention further relates to the use of O-dialkylamino-isoureas as polymerization initiators, especially to prepare coatings or for controlled degradation of polyolefins.

The invention relates to the use of O-imino-iso-urea compounds as source of radicals to polymerizable compositions comprising these O-imino-iso-urea and to new O-imino-iso-urea compounds.
