A method for manufacturing a turbine-engine blade from a preform made from polymerized composite material in a mold comprising a bottom part and a top part, comprising at least one closure step during which the top part of said mold is attached to the bottom part of the mold containing the preform, wherein it comprises, prior to said closure step, at least one insertion substep during which a first end of an immobilization element is inserted in a bottom part of the preform in a substantially transverse direction, and a positioning substep during which a second, opposite end of said element is disposed in a complementary reception cavity emerging in the bottom part of the mold.

Method for immobilising a preform in a mould

The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a turbine engine blade from a preform () of composite material polymerised in a mould comprising a lower part () and an upper part, comprising at least one closure step, during which the upper part of said mould is placed on the lower part () of the mould containing the preform (). The method comprises, prior to said closure step, at least one sub-step of inserting a position marker () into the preform (), at least one sub-step of compacting the preform using an insert () intended to be received in the upper part of the mould (), and at least one sub-step of checking the position of the marker () relative to a reference mark () of said insert ().

Method for checking the position of a preform in a mould

A method of molding a thermosetting resin, in particular of the epoxy resin type, in which a first mold is filled with the resin while causing the temperature of the resin to vary in application of a first temperature program, without exceeding the Tg of the resin. After the first mold has been filled, the resin is put under pressure while causing the temperature of the resin to vary in application of a second temperature program, without exceeding Tg, and a drop in the pressure exerted by the resin on the mold is detected with the instant at which this pressure presents a break of slope being identified as the instant t1. A second mold is filled with the thermosetting resin in application of the first temperature program. After the second mold has been filled, the resin is put under pressure in application of the second temperature program until an instant t2 close to t1. As from t2, the temperature of the resin is increased to exceed Tg.

Process for molding a thermosetting resin

An installation for shaping a fiber preform as a body of revolution presenting a profile that varies in radial section, the installation including a storage mandrel for storing a fiber texture, follower rollers, and a mold in the form of a body of revolution on which the fiber texture is to be shaped by winding, the follower roller(s) being placed between the storage mandrel and the mold in the form of a body of revolution. The storage mandrel, each follower roller, and the mold present radii across their axial widths that vary to define outer surfaces having profiles in relief. A follower roller has sectors releasably fastened on the outer surface of the roller, each sector extending over a fraction of the circumference of the roller and over all or part of the axial width of the roller.

The invention provides an injection mold core () for making a composite material part having a closed box, the core being in the shape of a wedge that is to be inserted inside a closed box () of at least one fiber preform into which a matrix-precursor fluid is to be injected, the core presenting both an opening right section () through which the core is to be unmolded from the box of the preform after the matrix has set, and also a maximum right section () of greater size than the opening right section, the core comprising at least three distinct elements () that are assembled together, each core element presenting a maximum right section of size that is smaller than the opening section.
