A hollow structural connecting rod including a first end fitting, a second end fitting, and a hollow main portion situated between the first and second end fittings. First and second connecting rod elements are integrally joined to one another and have, respectively, a first hollow shank made in one piece together with the first end fitting and a second hollow shank made in one piece with the second end fitting, the first and second connecting rod elements being joined by a joint situated at mid-length on the connecting rod, and which can be produced via flow-turning. The connecting rod may find particular application to an assembly system to be interposed between an aircraft engine mounting structure and an engine.

Hollow structural rod and production method thereof

An aft attachment for an aircraft engine assembly. The attachment has a double boomerang structure including two three-point shackles that are duplicated: only four attachment points are present at the engine mount and two at the engine, the failsafe function being ensured by the dual structure. This attachment design does not sacrifice safety criteria, while providing a more lightweight structure.

The bay (,) of a turbofan engine (,) comprises a front structural element (,), whose external surface is continuous and extends over at least 50% of the geometrical chord of the bay. Said element (,) is installed on maintaining and guiding members (,), such as slides, which prevent a significant deformation in flight and allow a sliding to the front of the element (,) for maintenance purposes. A laminar air flow around the front half of the bay (,) is consequently ensured.

A device for attaching an engine to a strut (10) of an aircraft comprises a main attachment structure and an emergency or standby attachment structure (52). The main attachment structure includes a fitting (16) fixed to the strut (10), as well as at least two swivelled rods (18, 20) connecting the fitting (16) to the engine. The standby attachment structure (52), through which no force passes when the main attachment structure is operational, connects directly, with a clearance, the strut (10) to the engine. It e.g. comprises a yoke (54) integral with the strut (10) and passing through a window formed in the fitting (16), or a rod articulated to the engine and to the strut.
