A sensor for measuring a physical parameter of a fluid, in particular for measuring total air temperature, the sensor comprising: a fluid intake () fitted to a streamlined body (); a duct provided in said streamlined body () to enable fluid flow, said duct communicating with said fluid intake; and a sensing element disposed inside said duct. The sensor is characterized in that it includes elements that give it improved measurement performance. In particular, the proposed air intake presents an inlet section which extends so as to define a sliding surface suitable for eliminating ice. The invention also provides an improved system for sucking in the boundary layer by using slots, and it also provides a ceramic sensing element that provides better thermal decoupling relative to the de-iced body.

De-iced total air temperature sensor

A flow meter which includes a resistive wire placed in the path of a fluid whereof the flow rate is to be measured. A processing unit for applying current pulses to the wire and for determining the cooling speed of the wire between the pulses. The processing unit also determines a cooling parameter and determines from the cooling parameter data concerning a possible operational drift or anomaly.

Sensor for measuring at least one physical parameter of a fluid flow, and in particular a de-iced sensor of air total temperature

The invention concerns a mass flow meter comprising at least a resistive wire ( or ) placed in the path of a fluid whereof the flow rate is to be measured, means ( ) for applying to the wire current pulses, measuring means for determining the cooling speed of the wire between said pulses. The invention is characterised in that it comprises means for determining, on the basis of at least one measurement of the cooling speed, the type of fluid on the path of which the resistive wire is arranged.

A sensor used to measure temperature or concentration of a combustible gas. The sensor includes an optical head that picks up infrared information emitted by the combustible gas. The infrared information is conveyed from the optical sensor through a diffracting device onto a strip of photodetectors. A processor receives the information garnered by the photodetectors and determines the concentration and temperature profile of the combustible gas based on a stored thermodynamic model, radiation behavior, varying the thermodynamic parameters, and comparing a calculated spectrum with the measured spectrum. The sensor additionally has elements, such as cooling devices and casing to make it suitable for use with aviation where altitude creates problems with known methods of gas temperature analysis.

Sensor for measuring temperature and/or concentration

The invention concerns a probe (S) for measuring physical parameters of a fluid flow generally directed rearwards of the probe, the probe comprising a structure (,) bearing at least a sensor (C). The invention is characterised in that said structure comprises a part (,) whereof a leading edge (,) extends generally frontwards of the sensor and has a shape adapted to generate a vortex, and the sensor extends in the axial region of said vortex.
