This inflatable balloon includes a balloon body, an inflation opening for the introduction of a fluid into the balloon body so as to inflate it under pressure, and at least one device for measuring a biological quantity of cavity tissues and/or of biological fluids present in this cavity. The measuring device includes an external sensor attached on an external face of the wall of the balloon body and adapted to supply an electrical measurement signal sensitive to the measured biological quantity, and an internal module located inside the balloon body and including a processing device adapted to process the electrical measurement signal in order to provide at least one measurement of the biological quantity.

Inflatable balloon for medical use

Disclosed is an implant intended to be introduced into a human or animal body cavity, and includes two walls intended to grip between them a biological protuberance present in the cavity in order to attach the implant to the biological protuberance. Each wall includes a structural element having corrugations such that the structural element is folded up on itself several times, enabling the wall to be folded up before the introduction of the implant, then deployed inside the cavity.

Implant for medical use intended to clip to a biological protuberance

Disclosed is an inflatable balloon for medical use, intended to be inserted deflated into a human or animal body cavity and then inflated once inside this cavity so as to apply pressure against the cavity. The inflatable balloon includes a balloon body, the wall of which is made from a flexible inflatable material, the balloon body having a generally elongated shape with a proximal inflation end and a distal positioning end at the back of the cavity. It further includes an inflation opening formed in the proximal end through which a fluid is introduced into the balloon body so as to inflate it under pressure. The wall of the balloon body locally has an elongated portion called the sole that is stiffer than the rest of the wall, this sole extending from the proximal end to the distal end.
