A coupling assembly is provided which includes a coupling element and a retaining member. One of the coupling element and the retaining member includes at least one cam element and another of the coupling element and the retaining member includes at least one notch. Both the cam element and the notch have two oppositely sloped surfaces. In a coupled position of the coupling assembly, the cam element and the notch only contact each other at two sides through the sloped surfaces at the position of a contact portion at a base of the cam element and an associated contact portion of the notch at an open side of the notch.

An apparatus, pan and method for the preparation of food with hot air including a pan bottom providing a pan surface area for receiving food to be prepared, and side-walls at least partly surrounding the pan surface area, and a mounting connector for temporarily mounting the pan inside a food preparation chamber of an apparatus for preparing food. The pan bottom is provided with a plurality of through-holes as a hot air passage. The through-holes cover approximately 3 to 50% of the flat pan surface area and the heat capacity per area of a bottom surface of the pan bottom is between 10 and 75 JKdm.

In order to provide an apparatus for preparing food of increased variance with improved cooking time and also improved food quality, a desk-appliance apparatus () for preparing food is provided, comprising a food preparation chamber (), an air movement device (), a heating device (), and air guiding means (). The present invention relates to food preparation. In order to provide an apparatus for preparing food with hot air with an improved flow characteristic, an apparatus () for preparing food is provided, comprising a food preparation chamber (), an air movement device (), a heating device (), and air guiding means (). The food preparation chamber is provided by a container structure () at least partly enclosing a receiving volume () for receiving food to be prepared by a through-streaming of hot air; wherein the container structure comprises sidewalls () and a bottom wall (), wherein the bottom wall and/or one of the side walls is air-permeable providing an air entry opening () for entering of hot air into the receiving volume, and wherein the container structure comprises an air discharge opening (). The heating device is configured to heat air of an air flow provided by the air movement device. The air movement device is a fan () with an air inlet () and an air outlet (), and the fan is provided sidewards of the food preparation chamber.

A device () comprises a source () for emitting ultraviolet light, an inlet () for letting in fluid to the device (), an outlet () for letting out fluid from the device (), and means () for performing a straightening action of a flow of fluid through the device (). The flow straightening means comprise at least one flow straightening element () having inlet openings for letting in fluid at one side and outlet openings for letting out fluid at another side, wherein each inlet opening is in communication with a plurality of outlet openings, and wherein the element () comprises a maze of randomly arranged, interconnected holes. In such a structure, a water element that is moving from one side of the element () to another side may take one of various paths, as a result of which variations in inlet conditions can be dampened.

A liquid appliance () has a liquid reservoir (), a liquid inlet () for supplying liquid to the liquid reservoir (), a float system () provided with a float () and a valve system (). In the installation position the second position of the transport lock () is established.

A device for shaving hairs growing from skin including a base portion having a grip, a shaving head which carries at least one cutting member having at least one cutting edge, and an actuator for effecting a periodical motion of the cutting member relative to the base portion to improve the cutting action of the cutting member. The shaving head is pivotable relative to the base portion about a pivot axis and the periodical motion of the cutting member is a periodical motion relative to the shaving head. The position and orientation of the geometrical path of the periodical motion of the cutting member relative to the skin is well-defined, so that the risk of skin irritations and skin injuries is considerably reduced.
