The present disclosure generally relates to processing and organizing electronic content. In accordance with one implementation, a computer-implemented method is provided that comprises receiving source data from at least one content server, the source data being associated with electronic content. The method also includes generating local data based on at least one of an analysis of the received source data or an extraction from the received source data. Additionally, the method includes classifying the electronic content as being associated with one or more content stacks. Further, the method includes generating representations of the electronic content based on the local data and generating instructions to display at least one content stack on a user interface, each displayed contact stack being operable to display one or more of the representations of the electronic content associated with the content stack based on the classification.

Systems and methods for processing and organizing electronic content

A method of asynchronously transferring a plurality of files between client and host devices is provided. The method includes transmitting to a client device a plurality of identifiers for files and transferring between the host and client devices a data frame that includes an identifier and at least a portion of the corresponding file. Each identifier corresponds to a different one of the files to be transferred. The method also includes repeating the data frame transfers until the plurality of files has been transferred.

Asynchronous data protocol

A computer system includes a detection processing module for determining whether a remote system associated with the destination of an electronic communication is capable of decompressing a compressed portion of the electronic communication. The computer system also includes a compression processing module for compressing a portion of an electronic communication if the remote system is determined capable of decompressing the compressed portion. The computer system also includes a communication processing module for sending the compressed portion of the electronic communication to the remote system.
