An optical imaging lens includes an aperture, a front lens group and a rear lens group along an optical axis from an object side to an image side. A first lens element of the front lens group is a lens element in a first order from the object side, and a second lens element is in a second order. The first lens element has positive refracting power, and an optical axis region of the object-side surface of the second lens element is convex, or its periphery region is convex. Lens elements included by the optical imaging lens are only five lens elements. The rear lens group enables the optical imaging lens to form a first focusing state and a second focusing state. EFL is an effective focal length of the first focusing state, and EFLA is an effective focal length of the second focusing state to satisfy EFL/EFLA≥1.200.

Optical imaging lens

Provided is an optical imaging lens, including a first lens element, a second lens element, a third lens element, a fourth lens element, a fifth lens element, a sixth lens element, a seventh lens element, an eighth lens element, and a ninth lens element sequentially arranged along an optical axis from an object side to an image side. An optical imaging lens may include eight lens elements positioned in an order from an object side to an image side. Through designing concave and/or convex surfaces of the eight lens elements, the optical imaging lens may provide improved imaging quality and optical characteristics while the total length of the optical imaging lens may be shortened.

A periphery region of the image-side surface of the first lens element is concave, the second lens element has negative refracting power, the eighth lens element has negative refracting power, and an optical axis region of the object-side surface of the ninth lens element is concave. Lens elements included by the optical imaging lens are only the nine lens elements described above, and the optical imaging lens satisfies the distance from the object-side surface of the first lens element to an image plane on the optical axis is less than or equal to 15.000 mm.

An optical imaging system includes a first lens element, a second lens element, a third lens element, a fourth lens element, and a fifth lens element from an object side to an image side in order along an optical axis. The first lens element to the fifth lens element each include an object-side surface and an image-side surface. The object-side surface of the second lens element has a convex portion in a vicinity of a periphery of the second lens element. The image-side surface of the third lens element has a convex portion in a vicinity of a periphery of the third lens element. The image-side surface of the fifth lens element has a concave portion in a vicinity of the optical axis, and the image-side surface of the fifth lens element has a convex portion in a vicinity of a periphery of the fifth lens element.

Optical imaging system
