A holding frame for a plug connector, for receiving contact inserts, includes: a main frame, which has a first side wall, a second side wall opposite the first side wall, a first end wall, and a second end wall opposite the first end wall, the first side wall, the second side wall, the first end wall, and the second end wall enclosing an interior of the main frame into which the contact inserts are insertable in an insertion direction; and multiple wall segments, each of which has a fastening region via which the contact inserts that are inserted into the interior of the main frame are holdable on the main frame. Each wall segment of the multiple wall segments are arranged on a receiving section formed on the first side wall or on the second side wall. Each receiving section has a slot-like cutout.

Holding frame, connector and electronic device

A holding frame for a plug connector for installation into a metal connector housing and for the protective earthing thereof, and for accommodating similar and/or different modules, includes: a base frame; and at least one flange part. The holding frame is formed from at least two different materials, of which at least one material is electrically conductive. The base frame is a die-cast component. The at least one flange part is formed from resilient sheet metal. The at least one flange part has trapezoidal tapering.

A plug connector to be connected, by plugging, to a mating plug connector, includes a contact carrier manufactured from an electrically insulating material, an electrical grounding contact arranged at the contact carrier for electrical contact with the mating plug connector, and an electrically conductive housing part connected to the contact carrier. An electrically conductive contacting element is manufactured by means of a casting technique. The electrically conductive contacting element has a first contacting portion which bears against the housing part in an electrically contacting manner, and a second contacting portion which bears against the grounding contact in an electrically contacting manner, and electrically connects the housing part to the grounding contact.

A plug-in connector part for plug-in connection to a mating plug-in connector part includes: a housing part which has at least one receiving opening and at least one electrical contact element disposed in the at least one receiving opening; and a staking element arranged on the housing part and which in a preassembled state of the connector part is movable along a staking direction to the housing part and by moving in the staking direction is brought into interaction with a staking section of the housing part so that, in an assembled state, the at least one electrical contact element is staked to the housing part.

An assembly of a plug connector part includes: a holding frame having a frame opening for receiving a plurality of modular contact inserts on a plurality of plug-in spaces arranged alongside one another along a width direction; and at least one modular contact insert insertable into the frame opening at at least one plug-in space, an arrangement of plug openings for connecting electrical conductors being disposed on the at least one modular contact insert. The at least one modular contact insert has an arrangement of connection spaces that are assigned to the plug openings and to which at least one functional element is attachable to electrically connect two plug openings to one another.
