An injection method of use for treating a production fluid from a wellhead. An injection system comprising a chemical tanks, a skid assembly, a bacteria monitor, and a control panel. An actuated three-way valve selectively opens and closes to allow a portion of the production fluid into the bacteria monitor. The injection system adapted to selectively open the actuated three-way valve to receive a portion of the production fluid from the wellhead, receiving a portion of the production fluid from the wellhead, monitoring a chemical composition of the production fluid, selectively adding a mixture of chemicals from one or more chemical storage tanks into the production fluid, injecting the resulting mixture back into the wellhead, and monitoring the production fluid and modifying mixtures from the one or more chemical storage tanks and/or closing the actuated three-way valve according to a desired mixture.

Oilfield chemical injection system and method of use

Systems and methods are provided for detecting a movement of an object marked with a marker. The system includes a sensor configured to capture a first image of the marker and to capture a second image of the marker after the first image, each of the first and second images having pixels each having a visual intensity. A controller is configured to compare the first image and the second image by comparing the visual intensity of each of the pixels of the first image and the second image, determine an area of overlap between the first image and the second image based on the comparison, calculate a change in position of the marker in the second image relative to the marker in the first image based on the area of overlap, and detect the movement of the object based on the change in position of the marker.

Systems and methods for passively determining when a threshold force has been exceeded. An example apparatus includes a housing and a substrate that is attached at one end to an interior portion of the housing. The substrate includes at least one conductive trace, each having two ends. The substrate is configured to fail when the threshold force has been experienced. The metal trace ends are electrically accessible from an exterior side of the housing. Prior to delivery, the housing is connected to a package that includes one or more force sensitive devices. Upon arrival of the package, the at least one conductive trace is electrically tested to determined if the substrate has failed. If the substrate has failed the package has experienced a force greater than the threshold force.

A method of event-based power management for seismic sensors is disclosed. The method comprises measuring seismic activity with a seismic sensor and comparing the measured seismic activity from the seismic sensor against at least one criteria. When the measured seismic activity does not satisfy the at least one criteria, a signal processing circuit is maintained in a deactivated state. When the measured seismic activity satisfies the at least one criteria, the signal processing circuit is activated to analyze the measured seismic activity. The signal processing circuit enters a functional mode based on analyzing the measured seismic activity.

A system comprises at least one non-hardened processor configured to run a plurality of mission related processes; at least one threat detector configured to detect one or more conditions which indicate the onset of a threat to the operation of the at least one non-hardened processor; and at least one hardened processor configured to elevate at least one health monitoring process of the at least one non-hardened processor from a background process to a foreground process when the at least one threat detector detects a condition indicating the onset of a threat, wherein the at least one hardened processor manages the operation of the at least one non-hardened processor based on the results of the at least one health monitoring process.

Two classes of airtime may be provided; home time airtime which is used when the unit is within the area of a local or primary communication service provider, and roam time airtime which is used when the unit is outside of the area of a local or primary communication service provider. The synchronization error generator is configured as a leaking integrator to provide the synchronization error signal in response to a relatively large number of frame error signals occurring in a period of time. A resynchronization operation is performed in the modem in response to the synchronization error signal.
