A support frame for a ventilation device for cooling a fluid passing through a cooling circuit of a motor vehicle is disclosed. The frame has an opening defining an opening perimeter configured to receive an impeller, and a central support positioned at the center of the opening and shaped to receive a motor actuating said impeller to generate a ventilation flow. The central support is attached, through said opening, to the frame by at least six holding arms, at least three of which are placed in a first plane or cone of revolution, and another three of which are being placed in a second plane or cone of revolution, different from the first. The first holding arms are each separated from any second holding arm at the opening perimeter by a space covering at least a distance corresponding to a chord of said first holding arms.

A ventilation blower wheel may have a hub and blades extending radially outwards from the hub between a blade root and a blade tip. Additionally, the blades of said blower wheel may have a backward/forward curvature as a result of a reversal in curvature along their span. Furthermore, said blades may have, between 20% and 80% along their span, at least one pitch variation, extending over a maximum span distance of 25%, of at least 2&#xb0; more or less than a linear pitch over said span distance.

A blower wheel comprises a hub, a guide and blades extending radially between the hub and the guide, each blade comprising a root at its junction with the hub and a head at the junction with the guide, each blade having a leading edge and a trailing edge between which, at each flattened cross section, a chord is defined. For each blade, between the root and the head, the length of the chord varies and the variation in the length of chord between the root and the head has a point of inflexion between two levels.

A blower wheel comprises a hub, a guide and blades extending radially between the hub and the guide, each blade comprising a root at its junction with the hub and a head at the junction with the guide, each blade having a leading edge and a trailing edge between which, at each flattened cross section, a chord is defined. For each blade, in the radial direction from the root to the head, the pitch angle between the chord and the rotation axis of the wheel varies and the variation in the pitch angle between the root and the head has a point of inflexion between a first level and a second level.

A fan propeller comprises blades (), each of which has a general profile of the aircraft wing type, with a leading edge () and a trailing edge (), a neutral axis () and a span () between the leading edge () and the trailing edge (). According to one embodiment, the blade () has, on at least part of its length, a profile shaped such that the neutral axis () makes possible a point of contraflexure (), and has two opposite concavities, i.e. a positive concavity (C) between the leading edge () and the point of contraflexure (), and a negative concavity (C) between the point of contraflexure () and the trailing edge (). A heat exchange block () for a motor vehicle, includes at least one heat exchanger (), wherein the block () is intended to be disposed behind a front grille () of a vehicle and to be traversed by air originating from an opening in the grille. The block includes a group of louvers () that can move between an open position and a closed position in order to modulate the flow of air (A) passing through the heat exchanger () and a channel () that can be disposed between the opening in the grille and the heat exchange block (). The heat exchange block is suitable for any motor vehicle, but, in particular, hybrid and electric vehicles.

A ventilation device is disclosed including a fan capable of being driven rotationally by an open electric motor which is firmly attached to a support intended for fixing said ventilation device, the fan having a plurality of blades which are distributed regularly around a bowl inside which there are arranged internal ribs capable of ventilating the open electric motor. Notably, the support includes a central part which is connected in a substantially sealed manner to at least one peripheral portion of the open electric motor.

The fan impeller () comprises a hub () and blades () extending radially outward from the hub, the blades having a flattened airfoil profile cross section with a leading edge () and a trailing edge () between which a chord is defined. The blade () has a relative thickness that reached its maximum value (E) in the first quarter of the length of the chord measured from the leading edge (), the relative thickness being defined by the ratio between the thickness of the blade and the length of the chord. The invention finds an application particularly in motor vehicle engine cooling fan impellers.

A fan in which, in order to improve straightening of the airflow, the axial length (L) of the guide vanes lies between 40 and 60 mm, and their angle of inclination &OHgr; with respect to a radial plane lies between 25 and 35&deg;.
