A tiled display device includes a plurality of display panel modules arranged adjacent to each other. Each of the plurality of display panel modules includes a display panel including a display area and a bezel area at least partially surrounding the display area, a light blocking layer disposed on the display panel and extending from the display area to a portion of the bezel area, and a protective layer disposed on the light blocking layer. In the bezel area, a distance from an end of the display panel to an end of the protective layer is greater than a distance from the end of the display panel to an end of the light blocking layer. Accordingly, an air layer is not formed between the protective layer and the display panel. A visibility of a seam area is reduced.

Tiled display device

A position adjustment device for a display module and a display device including the same are provided. A position adjustment device for a display module includes: a first direction control module including a first stage to which a display module is fixable, the first stage being movable in a first direction; a second direction control module coupled to the first direction control module and including a second stage movable in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, and a first controller coupled to the second stage; and a third direction control module coupled to the second direction control module and including a third stage movable in a third direction perpendicular to the first direction and crossing the second direction, and a second controller coupled to the third stage.

Position adjustment device for display module and display device having the same

A display device includes a display panel including a display surface in which an active area configured to display an image and a peripheral area disposed adjacent to the active area are defined, a light source configured to provide a light to the display panel, an optical member disposed between the light source and the display panel, a light blocking layer covering a side surface of the optical member, a support member supporting the optical member, and an intermediate protective member disposed between the display panel and the light source to support the display panel. The support member is supported by the intermediate protective member.

Display device and electronic apparatus having the same

A display device includes: a display panel which displays an image with light and a drive unit which is electrically connected to the display panel and drives the display panel. The drive unit includes a drive circuit board and a drive circuit film. The drive circuit board overlaps the display panel, generates a drive signal to drive the display panel and defines a receiving hole therein. The drive circuit film electrically connects the display panel to the drive circuit board and is bent from the display panel toward the drive circuit board. The drive circuit film includes a driver chip which provides a control signal in response to the drive signal from the drive circuit board. The driver chip is received in the receiving hole defined in the drive circuit board.
