A display device includes a flexible display panel, a plurality of functional layers above the flexible display panel, and a plurality of adhesive members each being between respective ones of the functional layers or between one functional layer among the functional layers and the flexible display panel. A sum of thicknesses of the adhesive members is equal to or greater than about 135 micrometers (&#x3bc;m) and equal to or less than about 200 micrometers (&#x3bc;m), and the thickness of the adhesive member having the largest thickness among the adhesive members is equal to or less than about 1.3 times the thickness of the adhesive member having the smallest thickness among the adhesive members.

Display device

A foldable display device includes: a flexible display module including a bendable area having a folding axis and substantially planar members respectively located at opposite sides of the bendable area; and a support disposed on the flexible display module and including a hinge portion and support members, each of the support members being rotatably supported by one of opposite sides of the hinge portion, wherein at least a portion of the folding axis overlaps at least one of the support members in a plan view.

An electronic apparatus includes a display panel having a display element and being configured to be folded or unfolded about a folding axis extending in a first direction, a window member disposed on the display panel, a first optical member disposed between the display panel and the window member, and a plurality of adhesive members disposed between the display panel and the window member. The adhesive members include a first adhesive member disposed on a surface of the display panel and having a first thickness and a second adhesive member disposed on a surface of the first optical member. A flexible display device includes a flexible display panel, an outer member disposed on a surface of the flexible display panel and including an electrode layer, and a stress control member disposed between the flexible display panel and the outer member, where the stress control member allows neutral planes to be defined in the flexible display panel and the outer member, respectively, when the flexible display device is bent, the outer member includes a touch panel including the electrode layer, a flexible member disposed on the touch panel, and an adhesive layer disposed between the touch panel and the flexible member and which couples the touch panel to the flexible member, and a neutral plane of the outer member is defined in the touch panel.

Flexible display device

A display device includes a first support frame including a first slant surface having a slant angle, a second support frame including a second slant surface symmetrical with and having a same structure as the first slant surface, a display panel on the first and second support frames, and a connection member connecting the first and second support frames to be rotatable around a rotational axis defined by the connection member, wherein the first and second slant surfaces are in areas of upper surfaces of the first and second support frames, respectively, and wherein first areas of the first and second support frames have a larger thickness than second areas of the first and second support frames, respectively, the first areas being adjacent to first sides of the first and second slant surfaces, and the second areas being adjacent to second sides of the first and second slant surfaces.

A stretchable display is disclosed. In one aspect, the stretchable display includes a plurality of pixel substrates arranged in a matrix having row and column directions. Each of the pixel substrates includes an island and a flexible hinge connecting the island to at least one of the adjacent pixel substrates. The island of each of the pixel substrates includes a plurality of first sides and a plurality of second sides. The flexible hinge of each of the pixel substrates includes a plurality of first flexible sub-hinges respectively extending from the first sides in the row direction and a plurality of second flexible sub-hinges respectively extending from the second sides in the column direction.
