Disclosed are various examples for implementations of policy-based trusted peer-to-peer connections. A computing device can receive a message from a first client device, the message specifying an identifier of a second client device. The computing device can then send a query to a computing device, wherein the query specifies the identifier of the second client device. The computing device can also determine that the first client device is authorized to communicate with the second client device based on a response to the query received from the second computing device. In some instances, the computing device can then send the public key of the second client device to the first client device.

Policy-based trusted peer-to-peer connections

Embodiments of the disclosure are related to distribution of content in response to search signals in an enterprise environment. Embodiments of the disclosure obtain search signals from a client device associated with a user. In response to obtaining such a search signal, content stored on a resource repository can be located. Such a resource repository can be a private repository associated with an enterprise. In response to located content, a notification can be sent to the client device of the user.

The use of bundles, as described herein, may be relied upon to assist users with the installation of applications associated with artifacts. In one embodiment, a bundle includes both a manifest and an artifact. A computing device may open the bundle and parse the manifest to identify an application for the artifact. The computing device may evaluate a status of a qualification to the application and, if the status meets the qualification, then install the application. Thus, with the combination of the manifest and the artifact in the bundle, it is not necessary that a user search for and identify an application associated with the artifact (e.g., a data or content file), because the computing device may reference the manifest to ascertain the application and, based upon one or more qualifications, for example, install the application automatically for the user.

A data object can be generated corresponding to the drawing. The data object can include characteristics of the file proximate to an area in the file associated with the drawing. The position of the drawing within the file can be determined based on a stored data object. The file can be rendered including the drawing at the determined position.

The user device can execute an application that reads the information bundle and formats content for display on the user device.

Disclosed are various examples for facilitating distribution of security codes for a two-factor authentication scheme or one-time passwords. Security codes can represent one-time passwords or shared secrets used to seed one-time password algorithms. The security codes can be sent through restricted communications channel to a client device. Rather than using an insecure communication link such as SMS for communication of security codes, the security codes can be sent through the restricted communications channel to reduce the possibility of leakage of the security codes.

Disclosed are examples that relate to searching for content associated with applications. In various examples, a system can include a computing device and a search interface component executable by the computing device. The search interface component can cause the computing device to obtain and validate a search query from a search component. The search interface component can search a search index of restricted application content that corresponds with the search query. The restricted application content is associated with a sandbox for a restricted application. The search interface component can also cause the computing device to provide search results to the search component.

Searching content associated with multiple applications

Disclosed are various embodiments for maintaining a collection of documents and user-defined messages made in conversations such that the collection may be accessed in a secure and manageable manner. A user-defined message may be stored by a collection control application in at least one data store according to a message storage policy and a portion of the user-defined message may be associated with at least one file in a collection of files. A manifest may be generated that enables access to the portion of the user-defined message and the at least one file. The manifest may comprise a location reference for each of the plurality of files in the collection of files and the user-defined message and an indication that the portion of the user-defined message is associated with the at least one file in the collection of files.
