A liquid ink repellent coating adapted to prevent transfer of fluid image forming ink droplets between imaged sheets in a stack of multiple printed impressions. The repellent coating comprises a polymeric composition having a surface energy less than about 30 mJ/m and an insoluble particulate filler as a matting agent.

A water-based toner-receptive composition suitable for electrophotographic or xerographic imaging, comprising: a) from about 65 to about 99 parts of a transparent film-forming core/shell latex polymer, wherein the ratio of core to shell of said core/shell latex polymer ranges from about 10/90 to about 90/10, with the core having a lower T.sub.g than the shell; b) from about 1 to about 15 parts polymeric particles; and c) from 0 to about 20 parts of an antistatic agent selected from the group consisting of cationic agents, anionic agents, fluorinated agents, and nonionic agents.

The present invention relates to polymeric microspheres comprised of short-chain diol diacrylate homopolymers or copolymers of diol diacrylates and long-chain acrylate esters, which exhibit excellent antifriction characteristics when applied on the surface of plastic sheets. Treated sheets exhibit a significantly lower coefficient of friction than sheets treated with commercially-available microspheres.
