An apparatus configured to process raw data received from a network service provider monitoring system to determine one or more pieces of information included in the raw data are relevant to performance monitoring of a communication network based on a matching with one or more recognized data categories for classifying pieces of information that are relevant to performance monitoring of the communication network, and to determine whether any pieces of the information included in the raw data are irrelevant to performance monitoring based on a failure to match any of the recognized data categories. The apparatus is also configured to extract the one or more pieces of information included in the raw data determined to be relevant to performance monitoring of the communication network from the raw data, and store the one or more pieces of information relevant to performance monitoring of the communication network in a central data repository.

Centralized key performance indicator monitoring and data storage apparatus and method

A method includes processing parameter selection inputs corresponding to a threshold correlation rule associated with monitoring a communication network. The method also includes processing node selection inputs. The method further includes causing a list of key performance indicators (KPIs) associated with monitoring the communication network to be populated based on the parameter selection inputs and the node selection inputs. The method also includes processing threshold comparison inputs and breach consistency condition inputs to generate a provisional threshold correlation rule. The method further includes processing the provisional threshold correlation rule to determine whether a previously created threshold correlation rule corresponding to a KPI exists. The method additionally includes generating the threshold correlation rule based on a confirmation to create the threshold correlation rule or a determination that the provisional threshold correlation rule does not match the previously created threshold correlation rule and storing the threshold correlation rule in a database.

Key performance indicator threshold correlation aggregation apparatus and method

An apparatus is configured to process user credentials received by way of a graphical user interface output by a display, retrieve a user profile associated with the user credentials from a database, and access a central repository to retrieve stored data based on the user profile. The apparatus is also configured to cause a list of the stored data corresponding to the user profile to be displayed. The stored data is displayed according to a plurality of sortable parameters indicative of the stored data included in the list. The apparatus is further configured to process a user input received by way of the graphical user interface to add new data to the central repository, cause a configuration profile user interface to be output by the display, and cause the new data to be added to the central repository and sorted according to a generated configuration profile.

Centralized data storage and sorting apparatus and method for monitoring KPIs associated with a communication network

A method includes processing parameter selection inputs corresponding to a threshold correlation rule associated with monitoring a communication network. The method also includes processing node selection inputs. The method further includes causing a list of key performance indicators (KPIs) associated with monitoring the communication network to be populated based on the parameter selection inputs and the node selection inputs. The method also includes processing threshold comparison inputs and breach consistency condition inputs to generate the threshold correlation rule. The method further includes comparing KPI values to a threshold comparison target and causing an alert to be generated indicating that an operating state of the communication network is outside a preset performance level.

Key performance indicator performance threshold correlation apparatus and method

A method includes causing, by a processor, a graphical user interface (GUI) to be output by a display. The GUI includes a first user input field identifying a target key performance indicator (KPI) associated with a network. A second user input field identifying a KPI peak-usage frequency. A third user input field identifying a peak-usage relationship. The method also includes creating a first monitoring profile based on the target KPI for the KPI peak-usage frequency for the peak-usage relationship. Storing the first monitoring profile. Monitoring the target KPI for the KPI peak-usage frequency based on the first monitoring profile. Collecting target KPI data over a period defined by the KPI peak-usage frequency. Determining a peak-usage during the period defined by the KPI peak-usage frequency based on the collected target KPI data. Periodically reporting peak-usage data based on the first monitoring profile.
