A data processing system includes: a processor; a network interface; and a memory comprising programming instructions for execution by the processor to: access an electronic workspace; determine a list of changes to the workspace within a period of time; structure a query to a Large Language Model (LLM) or Artificial Intelligence (AI) engine, the query to generate for a user a summary of the changes; obtain a corresponding summary from the LLM or AI engine; and in a user interface, associate a display of the workspace with the corresponding summary to update a user as to a current state of the workspace.

Systems and methods to summarize change in an electronic workspace

A computing device for organizing a collaborative workspace for a user implements providing, using a display of the computing device, an interactive user interface associated with the collaborative workspace in which the user may work on a shared task in a coordinated fashion with other users; identifying, based on one or more factors, one or more activities specific to the user from within the collaborative workspace; assigning the identified one or more activities to a catch-up list associated with the user; displaying, within the interactive user interface, the catch-up list; detecting that at least one of the one or more activities has been addressed from within the collaborative workspace or the catch-up list; and updating, based on the detection, the collaborative workspace and the catch-up list.

Managing a collaborative workspace to identify relevant activities and present the relevant activities to a user

Data is collected from a network graph, wherein the collected data is useful for training a machine learning model on a query domain. A domain-specific template corresponding to the query domain is received, the domain-specific template defining one or more classifiers to guide collection of content relevant to the query domain from the network graph. A collection starting point is analyzed based on the one or more classifiers of the domain-specific template to identify one or more relevant instances of the content. The one or more identified relevant instances of the content are added to a contextual protocol package. Each identified relevant instance of the content is analyzed based on the one or more classifiers of the domain-specific template to identify one or more additional relevant instances of the content. The one or more identified additional relevant instances of the content are added to the contextual protocol package.

Guided source collection for a machine learning model

Aspects of the present disclosure relate to systems and methods for determining one or more relevant activities to surface for a user of one or more files hosted by a collaborative application. In one aspect, a set of collaborative activities that are applied by one or more users to one or more files hosted by the collaborative application may be captured. The set of collaborative activities may be analyzed in relation to the user of the one or more files hosted by the collaborative application. At least some activities in the set of collaborative activities may be identified as belonging to one or more relevance categories. A prioritization may be assigned to the at least some activities that belong to the one or more relevance categories.

Catch up heuristics for collaborative application environments

Techniques for managing access to content are provided that include receiving a first signal requesting an indication whether a user has an access privilege to access to a resource associated with a first tenant of an access management service or perform an operation by a data processing system using the resource, determining that a first user account associated with the user does not have an access privilege to access the resource; performing a nested access privilege check to determine whether the user is associated with a second user account that has the access privilege to access the resource; and granting via the communication network access to the resource responsive to the nested access privilege check determining that the user is associated with the second user account and the second user account is associated with the access privilege to access the resource.

Nested access privilege check for multi-tenant organizations

Aspects of the present disclosure relate to a unified activity service. In one aspect, different files stored on different storage platforms may be rendered on different user interfaces. Multiple activities associated with each of the different files may be obtained from the activity service. In another aspect, activity metadata corresponding to the multiple activities may be stored in the activity service. Activities associated with the different files may include content changes in a file (e.g., edits and deletions), sharing a file, renaming a file, comments within a file, messaging, and conversations related to a file. The different storage platforms may be independent of the activity service.

Unified activity service

A computer system tracks and analyzes activity data, notifications, and user interactions with activity data and notifications. By analyzing this information, the computer system can identify, for individual users and across a set of users, which activity data and notifications are most relevant. Such activity data and notifications are most relevant when they result in the end user having further user interaction through the electronic document. The information about the relevance of the activity data and notifications can be used for managing sending of notifications and presenting activity data in end user applications.

Managing notifications related to collaboratively edited electronic documents based on user roles

Aspects of the present disclosure relate to an activity notification system. In one aspect, one or more entities associated with a user of a file may be identified. A priority level may be assigned to each of the one or more entities based on a type of activity of one or more activities associated with the file. The priority level may include at least a highest priority level and a lowest priority level. A notification indicating an occurrence of at least one activity from the one or more activities associated with the file may be sent to the entity of the one or more identified entities assigned the highest priority level. It may be determined which activities of one or more activities received at a notification service meet a notification value threshold. At least one notification from the activities determined to meet the notification value threshold may be generated.
