A fly-back circuit includes a voltage source, a transformer comprising a primary winding electrically coupled to the voltage source and a secondary winding electrically coupled to a load, a diode connected between the secondary winding and the load, a switch electrically coupled to the primary winding, a controller operable to open and close the switch to control energy transfer from the primary winding to the secondary winding; and a voltage monitor connected to a node between the secondary winding and the diode. The voltage monitor includes a processor that generates a variable threshold tracking voltage (Vthtracking), generates an output signal that is a toggling output when voltage at the node is above Vthtracking and a constant output when the voltage source is operating below Vthtracking and increases Vthtracking when the output signal is toggling until the output signal is not toggling.

In accordance with an embodiment, described herein is a system and method for providing on-demand localization in a microservice application environment. Generally described, an on-demand localization environment enables the system to serve localized user interface labels for an existing, e.g., monolith application, on-demand-without impacting the existing setup of the application or its present means of handling localizations. The described approach can ensure that only the localization which is needed for a particular user interface or visited page is served, without incurring additional round-trips back to the server for user interface messages that could have been served from the client. For applications and user interfaces comprising more than one module, the system can retrieve the localization for each of the modules in a single call.

System and method for providing on-demand localization in a microservice application environment

Fluid connector systems including first and second connector portions couplable together to form a fluid pathway therethrough, and can resist fluid flow through the connector when the connector portions are separated from each other. A connector portion can include a connector housing, a luer portion, and a deformable valve member. The deformable valve member is disposed within the connector housing and includes a spherical portion extending partially through a valve opening of the connector housing. The spherical portion defines a slit, and the deformable valve member is configured to selectively prevent fluid flow from the housing volume through the valve opening and to deform to expand the slit and permit fluid flow from the housing volume through the valve opening.

A phoneme-letter density model may be configured to identify a phoneme sequence corresponding to an input word, and to identify all character sequences that may correspond to an input phoneme sequence and their respective probabilities. The phoneme-phoneme error model may be configured to identify locale-specific alternative phoneme sequences that may correspond to a given phoneme sequence, and their respective probabilities. Using these two models, a processing system may be configured to generate, for a given input word, a list of alternative character sequences that may correspond to the input word based on locale-specific pronunciations, and/or a probability distribution representing how likely each alternative character sequence is to correspond to the input word.

In one embodiment, a calendar view of an activity is edited to change a number of calendar time units over which the activity is to be performed. In response to updating the calendar view of the activity, resource data structures are updated for multiple resources assigned to the activity. The resource data structures are updated to reflect the change in the number of calendar time units for each assigned resource. For each assigned resource, the number of calendar time units corresponds to a period of time for which the resource is assigned to the activity.

Systems, methods, and other embodiments are disclosed that are configured to automatically complete the generation of task structures in a project plan. In one embodiment, user data is generated by monitoring interactions of a user with a computer user interface when forming a task structure in a project plan. The user data is compared to learned behavior data. The learned behavior data represents reusable patterns derived from information associated with user creation of previous task structures. If, based on the comparison, the user data matches a reusable pattern of the learned behavior data, a prompt is displayed to the user indicating an option to accept or reject automated completion of the task structure. In response to receiving an acceptance from the user, the forming of the task structure is automatically completed in the project plan based on the matching reusable pattern.

A system is provided that visualizes soft constraints among tasks. The system displays a chart within a user interface, where the chart includes a timeline including one or more time units. The system further displays task indicators that correspond to tasks within the timeline of the chart. The system further displays a soft connector that corresponds to the soft constraint within the timeline of the chart, where the soft connector connects a first task indicator that corresponds to the first task with a second task indicator that corresponds to the second task.

Systems, methods, and other embodiments for providing scheduling of activities of a project plan associated with a computer application are described. In one embodiment, a project scheduling tool is configured to calculate a percentage time deviation, between an updated time duration and a planned time duration, for each present activity of a project to form a plurality of percentage time deviations. An arithmetic mean of the plurality of percentage time deviations is calculated and a planned time duration of at least one future activity of the project, related to each present activity, is transformed based on the arithmetic mean.

A resource staffing manager is provided that manages resource staffing of project teams. A resource demand profile is provided including requirements for roles to be staffed for a project team and an allocated budget for staffing the project team. Based on the resource demand profile, the manager displays a project level graphical user interface that includes a pie chart and a donut chart. The pie chart includes a slice for each of the roles and the donut chart indicates the amount of the allocated budget remaining. Upon selection of a resource to be staffed to one of the roles, the manager updates the slice of the pie chart corresponding to the role to graphically indicate that the selected resource has been selected to be staffed to that role. Based on the selection of the resource, the manager updates the donut chart to indicate the amount of the allocated budget remaining.

Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method, program product, and a logic circuit structure for correcting early-mode timing violations in a digital circuit design. A portion of a digital circuit design is identified having an early-mode timing violation. A logic circuit is identified within the identified portion of a digital circuit design having the early-mode timing violation. At least one input of the identified logic circuit is identified as having the early-mode timing violation. At least one transistor is added to the identified logic circuit, wherein the input of the added at least one transistor is coupled to the identified at least one input of the identified logic circuit, and wherein the addition of the at least one transistor delays the signal received at the identified at least one input to eliminate the early-mode timing violation.
