An aspect of the present disclosure facilitates secured access to protected resources. In one embodiment, a system (e.g., identity provider) receives, from an application service operating on a cloud node of a first cloud, a token request to access a protected resource hosted on a second cloud. The system generates a cloud web token containing a resource identifier of the protected resource, an application identifier associated with the application service and a node identifier of the cloud node. The system sends the cloud web token to the cloud node. Upon receiving, from the application service, an access request containing the resource identifier and the cloud web token, the system checks whether the cloud web token contained in the access request is valid. The system allows access to the protected resource if the cloud web token is determined to be valid, and denies access to the protected resource otherwise.

Provided are a computer program product, system, and method for rendering information in a gaze tracking device on controllable devices in a field of view to remotely control. A determination is made of a field of view from the gaze tracking device of a user based on a user position. Devices are determined in the field of view the user is capable of remotely controlling to render in the gaze tracking device. An augmented reality representation of information on the determined devices is rendered in a view of the gaze tracking device. User controls are received to remotely control a target device comprising one of the determined devices for which information is rendered in the gaze tracking device. The received user controls are transmitted to the target device to control the target device.

In accordance with an embodiment, described herein is a system and method for optimizing cloud infrastructure through client request classification in a cloud computing environment. The cloud infrastructure can include one or more high-compute infrastructure instances, and one or more standard-compute infrastructure instances. Each request received at a load balancer can be checked against a request classification cache, to determine whether the request has been classified, and if it has been classified, whether the request can be routed to a high-compute infrastructure instance or a standard-compute infrastructure instance based on a classification of the request. An unclassified request can be classified based on a plurality of request parameters, and threshold values derived from the cloud infrastructure; and can be stored in the request classification cache. Classified requests in the classification cache can be provided to a cloud vendor for use in optimizing the cloud infrastructure.

Systems and methods for setting up dynamic calculations within compensation software are described in the present disclosure. According to one embodiment among many, a compensation module for managing compensation for a number of employees includes a dynamic calculation set-up module allowing a user to set up a dynamic calculation. The dynamic calculation includes a calculation for one column of a worksheet based in part on a value in another column. The compensation module also includes a condition builder allowing a user to enter a condition and a result as part of a dynamic calculation. In particular, a column associated with the result receives a calculated value when the condition is met.
