A shoe care device includes an inner cabinet that has an accommodation space configured to accommodate shoes therein, an inlet defined at a first portion of the accommodation space and configured to supply air to the accommodation space, and an outlet defined at a second portion of the accommodation space and configured to suction air from the accommodation space. The shoe care device further includes a connection path configured to circulate air between the inlet and the outlet, a blowing fan disposed at the connection path and configured to blow air from the outlet toward the inlet, a dehumidifying material disposed at the connection path and configured to dehumidify the air blown by the blowing fan, a heater configured to heat the dehumidifying material, and a regeneration path configured to guide, to a location other than the inlet, the air having passed through the dehumidifying material heated by the heater.

Drying apparatus and method of controlling same

A shoe care device includes an inner cabinet, an air supply device that is configured to blow air to an accommodated space of the inner cabinet and includes a plurality of dehumidifying materials separate from one another, and a controller configured to control the air supply device. The air supply device includes a connection path configured to circulate air between an inlet and an outlet of the inner cabinet, and a regeneration path branched from the connection path and configured to guide air having passed through at least one of the dehumidifying materials to a portion of the air supply device other than the inlet. The controller is configured to control the air supply device to selectively open and close at least one of the connection path or the regeneration path based on whether or not at least one of the dehumidifying materials is heated.

A control method for a washing machine includes: a mode change step in which the configuration of a coupler is moved by operating a solenoid module in such a way that a drive shaft for spinning a pulsator and a dewatering shaft for spinning a washing tub are axially coupled or decoupled; and a mode check step in which a drive motor for rotating the drive shaft is operated and the load of current outputted to the drive motor is sensed, the mode check step comprising a coupler setting step in which, if the load of current outputted to the drive motor does not satisfy a set load value, the solenoid module is operated to reposition the coupler.

A washing machine and a control method therefor are provided. The washing machine includes a water tank, a washing tub, a pulsator, a drive motor, a coupling flange connected to the drive motor, a drive shaft that rotates the pulsator, a dewatering shaft that rotates the washing tub, a coupler configured to move up and down along the dewatering shaft and to be placed in a first position where the coupler engages the coupling flange and in a second position where the coupler is placed above the coupling flange, a solenoid module that moves the coupler, a coupler guide configured to be rotated by the coupler and fix the coupler in the second position, and a controller configured to control the solenoid module to move the coupler.

A washing machine includes a dewatering shaft for rotating a washing tub, a drive shaft for rotating a pulsator in the washing tub, a coupler that is configured to move up and down along the dewatering shaft, a solenoid module that moves the coupler upward, a coupler guide configured to be rotated by contact with the coupler when the coupler moves upward, and to maintain a position of the coupler or guide the coupler to another position when the coupler moves downward, and a controller that controls operation of the solenoid module based on applying one or more pulse signals to the solenoid module.

Washing machine

A washing machine includes a water tank, a washing tub, a pulsator, a drive motor, a drive shaft, a dewatering shaft that rotates about the same axis of the drive shaft and spins the washing tub, a coupler that is mounted to move up and down along the dewatering shaft and transmits the torque of the drive motor to the dewatering shaft, a solenoid module that moves the coupler upward in a lengthwise direction of the dewatering shaft so as to cut off torque from the drive motor to the dewatering shaft or transmit the torque to the dewatering shaft, when a magnetic field is generated by applying an electric current to a coil, and a coupler guide that rotates itself or fixes the position of the coupler, by coming into contact with the coupler when the coupler moves upward in the lengthwise direction of the dewatering shaft.

In a washing machine of the present disclosure, a drive shaft rotating a pulsator and a dehydration shaft rotating a washing tub are connected to each other or disconnected from each other while a clutch operated by a solenoid is lifted, a current is intermittently applied to the solenoid while the clutch is lowered, and thus, a lowering speed of the clutch can be reduced.

A method of controlling a washing machine includes rotating a motor for driving an inner shaft in a first direction, and aligning a clutch to a reference position corresponding to one of a maximum lowered position and a maximum raised position. The motor is rotated by a preset reference alignment angle in a second direction to align the clutch from the reference position to a starting position corresponding to one of an upper limit and a lower limit of a preset agitating control section. The upper limit of the agitating control section is spaced downward by a first distance from the maximum raised position, and the lower limit of the agitating control section is spaced upward by a second distance from the maximum lowered position. The motor is rotated by a starting alignment angle set according to a displacement of the clutch ranging from the starting position to a target position corresponding to the other one of the upper limit and the lower limit so that the clutch is moved from the starting position to the target position.
