A display device and a display panel thereof are provided by embodiments of the present application, wherein the display panel includes a plurality of pixel regions distributed in a light-shielding matrix, each of the pixel regions includes at least three sub-pixel light-emitting regions; and the display panel includes data lines, touch lines, and a light-shielding matrix layer. The present application solves a technical problem that an aperture ratio of a display panel is not high in the prior art, and contrast of a displayed image of the display panel is affected.

Display device and display panel thereof

A gate driving circuit and a display panel are provided. A gate driving unit in the gate driving circuit includes a pull-up control module, a pull-up node, a pull-down control module, a pull-down node, and a pull-down module. The pull-up control module is electrically connected to the pull-up node. The pull-down control module is electrically connected to the pull-down node. The pull-down control module is electrically connected to a scanning signal input terminal of a previous one stage gate driving unit or a scanning signal input terminal of a previous two stage gate driving unit. The pull-down module is electrically connected to the pull-up node and the pull-down node.

Provided are a display panel and an electronic terminal, including pixel units arranged along row and column directions. The pixel unit includes sub-pixels of different colors arranged along the row direction. In a first mode, two adjacent groups of pixel units are simultaneously turned on, and the sub-pixels of a same color in two adjacent columns of pixel units display a same gray scale. In a second mode, a plurality of rows of pixel units are turned on sequentially, and each sub-pixel in a plurality of columns of pixel units displays a corresponding gray scale. The refresh rate of the first mode is greater than that of the second mode, and the resolution of the first mode is smaller than that of the second mode. This shortens the time required for all rows of pixel units to be turned on, thereby increasing the refresh rate.

A touch display panel includes first and second substrates that are disposed opposite to each other, and a liquid crystal layer between the first and second substrates. The first substrate includes a base substrate, a plurality of data lines, at least two touch wirings, at least two touch electrodes, and a pixel electrode. The data lines and the touch wirings are disposed on the base substrate. The touch electrodes are provided at a side of the data lines away from the base substrate. There is a gap between two adjacent touch electrodes. In a direction perpendicular to the base substrate, the gap overlaps with at least a portion of the touch wirings, the data lines overlap with the touch electrodes, and the data lines do not overlap with the gap. The pixel electrode is disposed at a side of the touch electrodes away from the base substrate.

A driving method for a display panel is through making the first demultiplexing signal, the second demultiplexing signal, the third demultiplexing signal, the fourth demultiplexing signal, the fifth demultiplexing signal and the sixth demultiplexing signal according to the first sequence generate the high-level pulse in the first image frame, and through making the first demultiplexing signal, the second demultiplexing signal, the third demultiplexing signal, the fourth demultiplexing signal, the fifth demultiplexing signal and the sixth demultiplexing signal according to the second sequence different from the first sequence generate the high-level pulse in the second image frame, thereby by adding the effect of the two image frames to eliminate stripes on the images displayed by the display panel to improve the display effect.

Driving method for display panel

A driving method of a display panel is provided, including setting the first red, first green, first blue, second red, second green, and second blue multiplexed signals. In the 2i&#x2212;1th multiplexing period, the charging time of the sub-pixels corresponding to the switching units controlled by the first red, the first green, and the first blue multiplexed signals is earlier than that controlled by the second red, the second green, and the second blue multiplexed signals. While In the 2ith multiplexing period, the charging time of the sub-pixels corresponding to the switching units controlled by the first red, the first green, and the first blue multiplexed signals is later than that controlled by the second red, the second green, and the second blue multiplexed signals. The method will eliminate the stripe feeling of the scream picture displayed on the display panel and so improve the display quality.

Driving method of a display panel

A drive method for a display panel is provided. A first multiplex signal, a second multiplex signal, a third multiplex signal, a fourth multiplex signal, a fifth multiplex signal, and a sixth multiplex signal sequentially generate the high level pulse in the predetermined order in each of the first row periods of the (2i&#x2212;1)th multiplex period. In addition, the first multiplex signal, the second multiplex signal, the third multiplex signal, the fourth multiplex signal, the fifth multiplex signal, and the sixth multiplex signal sequentially generate the high level pulse in a reverse order to the predetermined order in each of the second row periods of the (2i)th multiplex period. As a result, mura within the display picture of the display panel is eliminated to improve the display quality.

A pull-down circuit of a gate driving unit includes: a first thin film transistor having a first gate to which a scan direction signal is inputted, a first source and a first drain to which a clock signal is inputted; a second thin film transistor having a second gate coupled to the first source, a second source coupled to a pull-down control node and a second drain to which a first direct-current voltage is inputted; a third thin film transistor having a third gate to which a first control signal is inputted, a third source coupled to the pull-down control node and a third drain coupled to a second direct-current voltage; and a fourth thin film transistor having a fourth gate coupled to the pull-down control node, a fourth source coupled to an output node and a fourth drain coupled to the second direct-current voltage.
