A refrigerator and ice making device for producing and releasing clear ice and a method thereof. In an exemplary embodiment, an ice tray of the ice making device may include at least one receiving part that receives water for freezing into the clear ice, the at least one receiving part having an opening provided at a top portion thereof through which the water is supplied and the clear ice is discharged from the at least one receiving part. At least one oscillator may be disposed on the ice tray, the at least one oscillator structured to keep the water moving during the ice production process. The at least one oscillator may also be used to vibrate the ice tray to release the clear ice into a collection tray.

Refrigerator and ice making device for producing and releasing clear ice, and method thereof

A retractable oven rack includes a slidable wire base with four wire sections extending generally horizontally around a periphery. Two of the wire sections extend parallel to each other along the width of the wire base and the other two extend parallel along the length. The four wires sections are connected to each other at their ends. A pair of support rods extend from and respectively parallel two of the wire sections along the length of the slidable wire base. The oven rack also includes a grid shelf having a pair of raised wire sections extending the length of the grid shelf that are slidably supported on the pair of support rods for allowing the grid shelf to be supported and slide on the pair of support rods.

Retractable oven rack assembly

A simple, highly reliable automatic motor driven oven door latch for an oven self-cleaning operation. To ensure that the motor has operated correctly and has not stopped in a null position, the motor is provided with a start pulse and the location of the latch or locking member of the latching mechanism is monitored to guarantee that the locking member has moved to the correct position. If the locking member has not moved to the correct position, then the motor is provided with another start pulse and the location of the latch or locking member of the latching mechanism again is monitored to again ensure that the locking member has moved to the correct position. This sequence can be repeated on opening and closing of the latching mechanism a desired number of times to guarantee that the locking member has moved to the correct position when locking or releasing the oven door.

A cooktop with a ceramic glass panel has a panel portion with a first indicia set for selection of a burner and a second indicia set for selection of a power level to the selected burner. Each set of indicia is associated with switches for input to a control circuit in response to manipulation by a user. In addition, each indicia set includes a display interactive with the manipulation of the other indicia set. Preferably, the control circuit includes a processor for responding only to a sequential manipulation of an indicia from the first set indicia set and a sequential manipulation of an indicia from the second set within a predetermined time period.

Cooktop burner control for glass ceramic cooktop panel

A plunge base router for use in an upright and an inverted position is disclosed. The router includes a depth adjustment mechanism, a depth stop mechanism, a post lock mechanism, and a return spring defeat mechanism. The depth adjustment mechanism includes a course adjustment mechanism and a fine adjustment mechanism to set the cutting distance of a bit. The course and fine adjustment mechanisms are usable in both the upright and inverted positions and the fine adjustment mechanism is operable without being reset throughout the full range of motion of the plunge router. The depth stop includes a mechanism for locking the end of a rod on the housing to the base in order to set the relative position in between the housing and the base. The depth stop also includes a plurality of steps for engaging the rod and permitting incremental passes of cutting at different depths with the router. The post lock mechanism includes a lever for locking the housing to the guide posts in a relative position relative to the base, and the lever is normally biased to the lock position. The lever includes a latch for locking the lever in the open positions so that the plunger can be easily mounted in an inverted position under a worktable without the need to hold down the lever in order to permit relative movement between the housing and the base. The return spring defeat mechanism defeats the return spring that biases the housing away from the base so that it is easier to mount the plunge router in an inverted position on the underside of a worktable.

Plunge base router

An appliance control protection apparatus for a glass ceramic cooktop is constructed with a double wall housing and a low voltage cooling fan. The double wall housing is comprised of a first inner wall and a outer wall and prevents the transfer of heat from the heating elements in a glass ceramic cooktop towards the electronic control unit. The first inner wall is adhered to the underside of the ceramic glass panel of the cooktop and the outer wall snaps into position over the first wall, resulting in a space therebetween for insulation. Additionally, the control housing is provided with a low voltage fan that convects heat away from hot spots formed on the electronic control unit toward other components within the control housing. The low voltage fan operates in response to certain operating temperatures within the control housing as detected by a heat sensor.

Selectively visible control for glass ceramic cooktop

The drive mechanism for imparting reciprocating movement to the tool plunger includes first and second drive members. The first drive member is mounted on an eccentric formation which is in turn mounted on a drive shaft thereby to impart a wobbling movement to the first drive member. The second drive member is in the form of a piston mounted for reciprocating movement within a bore formed in the first drive member. The second drive member is pivotally connected to the plunger. The second drive member has a helical groove in its exterior surface. A lubricant is forced along the groove in part due to the reciprocating movement of the second drive member in the bore of the first drive member.

Lubrication system for a reciprocating power tool

The reciprocating plunger of a power tool has a planar surface for substantial co-extensive engagement with one side of the mounting portion of plural ones of blades of varying thicknesses. A housing mounted to the plunger includes a cavity and rotatably supports a cam block in the cavity. The cam block has an arcuate cam face establishing respective plural axial lines of contact with the other side of the mounting portion of ones of the blades of varying thicknesses. Each of the lines of contact occupies an over-center relationship with respect to a plane perpendicular to the blade and containing the axis of rotation of the cam block.
