The invention relates to a motor-driven hand tool for machining of workpieces, in particular planar workpieces, having a guide surface which can be placed on the workpiece to be treated, and a face milling cutter for processing which projects past the guide surface, and which has an axis of rotation extending perpendicularly to the guide surface.

Motor-driven hand tool

A drill chuck includes clamping jaws guided in openings inclined toward each other in a chuck body and displaced via a manually rotatable clamping sleeve and a blocking sleeve, which is axially displaceable and partially rotated in relation to the chuck body. The blocking sleeve can be connected with the clamping sleeve by being displaced into its axial end position. A spring operating in the circumferential direction between the chuck body and the blocking sleeve, which prestresses the blocking sleeve in relation to the chuck body in a direction corresponding to the closing direction of the clamping sleeve is provided. To increase the service life of the drill chuck it is embodied in such a way that the end of the spring on the blocking sleeve side is disposed on a plate- or disk-shaped adjusting disk which encloses the shaft of the chuck body, is interlockingly taken along with the rotation of the blocking sleeve and is axially displaceable on the blocking sleeve, and in such a way that, for limiting the rotation of the blocking sleeve in relation to the chuck body, a cam is provided, which operates between the surface of the shaft of the chuck body and the adjusting disk and is limited by two detents.

Drill chuck

An apparatus includes a clamping body which includes a lever which bears against a saw blade inserted into the clamping body. A tension spring is connected to the lever and to the clamping body and the tension spring bears against a pin which is slideably mounted in the clamping body. The pin bears against the saw blade and moves the saw blade out of engagement with form-lock projections in the clamping body when the lever is moved to an unlocked position.

Apparatus for clamping the end of a saw blade

In a quick-action clamping device for axially securing a disk-shaped tool, particularly a grinding wheel on a flange of a driven spindle that has a clamping part provided with a thread that can be screwed to the thread of the spindle. The disk-shaped tool is held clamped between contact surfaces of the flange and the clamping part whose spacing from one another can be changed. It is proposed to avoid complete release of the tension nut during spindle stop operation in that the tool is pressed against the flange by means of at least one additional holding surface via a spring force, and that this additional holding surface is connected to the spindle in a manner secured against relative rotation.

Quick-action clamping device for axially securing a disk shaped tool

An electric motor has a ferrous core extending along, rotatable about, and centered on an axis. This core is formed with axial slots and has opposite end edges centered on the axis. A winding extends along the slots of the core and has opposite axial ends extending axially beyond the core. A fan on the core circulates air axially over the core and winding. Respective deflector cages on the winding ends each include an inner ring, an outer ring fitted over the respective end edge of the core, and a plurality of ribs extending axially and radially between the rings and projecting generally axially from the respective winding end. The ribs are spaced apart on the respective winding end such that the winding end is exposed between the ribs. Thus on rotation of the rotor, particles blown by the fan are deflected by the ribs before they engage the winding ends.

Air-cooled rotor for electric motor

A portable electric grinder wherein the grinding wheel is held against rotation relative to the spindle by two annular clamping rings. The spindle has a motor-driven hollow outer shaft and an inner shaft which is installed in the outer shaft and can be held against rotation with the outer shaft by a manually depressible arresting member. One of the clamping rings rotates with the hollow shaft and the other clamping ring mates with the inner shaft. When the inner shaft is held against rotation and the motor is started for a short interval of time, the hollow shaft rotates the one clamping ring which rotates the grinding wheel and the other clamping ring by friction so that the grip of the clamping rings upon the grinding wheel is loosened and the grinding wheel can be fully separated from the spindle by completing the unscrewing of the other clamping ring from the inner shaft. The motor drives the hollow shaft through the medium of a step-down transmission.

Portable electric grinder

A hammer drill has clamping jaws which are provided, in addition to clamping surfaces for radial clamping a cylindrical tool shaft, also with additional axially extending guiding surfaces for axially non-rotatably holding and guiding of the tool shaft, and the tool shaft is provided with guiding grooves associated with the clamping jaws.
